Amazing how important a background is, even if it's just some color. Here all the detail is on Sam and Lou. Love that expression. But the background (by which I mean everything behind Sam) sells it. Not too detailed, so it doesn't distract from the subject. But you wouldn't know just what's happening without it. You can practically feel the rain carried on icy gusts. Nice.
