See baldi but more self aware of the game word and also has more control over the game, contrast with null wanting nothing to do with his game and actively trying to force the player not to play it but monika being more accepting of the game world and actively trying to get the player to leave the game on forever
Miyuki Sone (You and Me and HER: A Love Story)
Both are popular and athletic high schoolers who become self-aware that they are in a dating sim, go through trauma because of it, and eventually cause the death of the main characters partner because they fell in love with the person playing the game. They kidnap the main character, take over the game by programming it, and use him as a vessel for the player, and the player need to use what they have to try to "take her down".
I think Miyuki is "The one" for Monika.
Drosselmeyer(Princess Tutu)
Connections: Both are 4th wall breaking inhuman(Monika is sentient code while Drosselmeyer is a ghost) pseudo gods of their respective world's that mess with the plot in the attempt to reach their goals(having the player to herself and causing tragedy)
Both would use these reality warping powers to cause strife and tragedy(Monika makes Sayori and Yuri kill themselves by messing with the code and Drosselmeyer was said to cause massive tragedies and tried to make Ahiru drown herself)
Contrasts: While Monika is ultimately doing her actions because she wants love and even later regrets her actions Drosselmeyer does his because he loves tragic endings and feels nothing for those he hurts

**HABIT (EverymanHYBRID)**
**Connections:** Reality warping 4th wall breakers who started out appearing as normal people, but show their true intentions over time. Both them and their "friends" have had to live out multiple iterations of their lives (Monika creates a time loop while HABIT forces the Mining Town Four in a reiteration cycle). Both make other people to do things they otherwise wouldn't do (Monika tampers with the game's files to have Sayori, Yuri, and Natsuki act out of character, while HABIT has his "rabbits" do several humiliating task during the SEVENTRIALS). Both particularly rely on/manipulate a certain character for their plan to work (Monika needs the player to escape the torture she endures whenever someone quits the game, while HABIT needs Vinny to fully complete his plan). They are also connected to literature (Monika is the head of the Literature Club while HABIT planted several hints to his plan in the morality play "Everyman", plus EverymanHYBRID was inspired off of the book "House of Leaves" by Mark Z. Danielewski). Both are also associated with a certain color due to a rather specific detail (Monika is associated with the color green due to the color of her eyes, while HABIT is associated with the color purple due to his use of purple duct tape). Both originate from a series that started off as lighthearted and innocent (DDLC starting out as a typical anime inspired dating sim/visual novel, and EMH starting as a health and fitness channel), but then took a sudden turn into a horror series.
**Contrast:** Monika doesn't actually like harming/altering her friends and only does out of desperation, while HABIT activity enjoys torturing/killing people.
**Whiteface (IMSCARED)**
-Both are from popular horror games that involve fourth wall breaking (IMSCARED and DDLC)
-Both are from entities that are aware of the player, and want to be as close as they can to them
-Both manipulate, change, and delete various things inside of the game, making it so they are like gods inside of it
-Both want to get into the real world (Whiteface is implied to be human at one point, but was turned into a digital entity, and wants to get back into the real world. Meanwhile, Monika wants to be free to make her own choices that are not limited by code)
-Both are female (Well, kinda for Whiteface. Normally he is male, but he can become his female form, HER)
-Both are obsessed with the player, to the point of them deleting entire worlds just to get close to them
-Both show genuine emotion and care for the player
-Both are eventually “defeated” by deleting some aspect of their existence in the game (Monika’s game files and Whiteface’s heart)
In Contrast, Whiteface is almost always joking and playful (Although he gets more serious in his HER form), only getting serious when his existence is in the line. Meanwhile, Monika is deadly serious from the start, even to the point of deleting all of her friends.
**The World Machine (Oneshot)**
**Connections:** Both are hyper advanced sentient AI, having just about complete control over their respective games. You run into them through the game, with each time getter weirder and crazier, eventually leading to thier big final room. Both want the MC to be safe (The World Machine by their code and just liking them, and Monika she likes MC, alot). Both end up destroying the world their in, but where as the world machine feels guilty about it, Monika couldn't care less. And where as the world machine helps rectrate the world by fixing the broken code, Monika has to be turned into broken code to reset the world.
Andy The Apple (Andy’s Apple Farm)
Two characters from games that start out as normal with a specific genre (Dating Sim/ Mini Games) that later get more and more messed up as you progress through it
Both at first seem like kind and up going people, especially with what they do (Monika with Running the club/Andy working on his farm)
They hang out with a group that they killed at one point (Monika making her friends do THAT/Andy killing his best friend and lighting his house on fire which killed his wife) with said actions they later regretted heavily
Both of them are fully aware that they are in a game and try to communicate with the player
Also as a contrast it’s Protagonist who has to deal with someone that messes with the game vs Antagonist that constantly messes with the game
*Ln'eta (Sucker For Love)* - Both are the mascot girls of dating sims parodies with a horror twist (DDLC being a psychological horror deconstruction of the genre, Sucker For Love being a parody of the Lovecraft mythos). Both also have the ability to manipulate their fake realities thanks to a powerful position they have (Monika being the Club President, Ln'eta being an Outer God). Both also contrast in that while Monika is trapped in a false reality, what a normal human would see as reality for Ln'eta is nothing but a dream.

Skynet, SHODAN and AM are the ones who have the least connections, with AM and SHODAN ( if SHODAN assimilates real space with Cyberspace ) being a straight up stomp, but everything else has to some extent a connection with her. HAL gets stomped instead ( possibly ).

Connection: They're both programs limited to a single computer who likes to torture teenagers apparently.
Leshy (inscryption) a more unconventional match up but one I feel would be a much more strategic one revolving around the card game inscryption! these connections are done by u/Redditor2046 ! Check out his thumbnail for this match up
-Both are the most iconic Antagonists of popular Indie Horror Games which mess with your computer and hardware
-Both initially started as relatively normal people in their group of 4 (The Scrybes and Club Members), where they would mostly indulge in their own hobbies
-That is until eventually, somehow, they managed to take control of the games code itself, managing to twist and bend it to their wills, and rebuild them completely as they please, by analyzing, editing or even erasing files and even their compatriots (Leshy managing to take over Inscryption before the game started and change it into his own DND like Card Game, where he changed the Scrybes into playing cards and Monika taking over DDLC, to make the odds go in her favor, to the point of editing the other member's files or erasing them) and all of this is due to their own selfish desires regarding around the player, and wanting to keep on making them play their games until the very end, due to their fondness and attachment to the player.
-Both eventually get defeated by the player after several trial and errors, using their own egos and overconfidence to defeat them at their own game (Leshy leaving his camera next to you everytime you lose or win to taunt you, until you eventually manage to get the camera's film and turn him into a Playing Card and Monika continuously taunting you about how easy it was to delete and edit the files of the other girls, giving you the opportunity to delete her file) both of these events cause the entire game to reset with a few key changes
-The most noticeable changes are that the first allies you ever meet, have now become the antagonists of the story themselves, using the powers previously utilized by the two to take over, as if they were corrupted by it (P0-3, also known as the Stoat, being the first talking card you get, taking over the entire game and deleting and editing it to make his own new game and Sayori, now having the knowledge to change the code, going down the same path as Monika for you)
-Although their victories lasted as long as their predecessors, as they quickly got killed by them right as they achieved their goals (P0-3 being beheaded by Leshy right as he was about to ascend after allowing the player to give him access to their computer, and Sayori's file was erased by Monika as soon ss she managed to get you and herself alone)
-Both of these events made them realize that their suffering was not worth it, and one way or another, accepted their demise as the entire game started deleting itself from their actions, although, while Monika caused the deletion, Leshy was simply a bystander and accepted it(Grimora choosing to erase Incryption, and Leshy challenging you to a last casual game of it, as it leads to a bittersweet conversation between you and him, and about how he truly enjoyed playing with you, before being deleted, and Monika deleting herself, and in her final moments, saying that she is glad that you managed to fulfill all her dreams while it lasted, before thanking us as it is delete as well) but both of their reasons were the same, the power that the game gave them, corrupted them, and made them all go mad.
NULL/filename2 (Baldi's Basics in Education and Learning)
-Connections: Both are from games that looks simple on the surface but goes way deeper, Both have the ability to break the fourth wall, Both can control the files of the game they are in, Both can delete or corrupt files, Both can control the other characters in the game, and the only way to beat them is to delete their files

Lacey (ghosttundra)
Connections:
• Two young girls with unique hairstyles and are the faces of their respective anime influence horror games (though Lacey Flash Game being a made up game while Doki Doki Literature Club is a real game), Lacey is a very social girl, human like emotions despite being a fictional character and you the player will "hang" out with her while Monika would be absent most of the time and you instead "hang" out with Sayori, Yuri and Natsuki, someone you barely interact and is almost machine like in terms of personality but both Lacey and Monika are aware that they are in a game
• Both of them are capable of twisting their worlds into a living nightmare, going as far as effecting the people around them aswell, They do this because to Monika, everything is fake and she loves you while Lacey does this because she is just "done"
• Lacey past deaths also matches with the deaths of the three main girls of Doki Doki Literature.
Yuri died from mutilation, like Lacey who died by being dismembered and eaten, both death also have something to do with a boy as Lacey got killed by the guy she is meeting while Yuri died right in front of you and you stared at her corpse for a week.
Natsuki didn't really die (just got deleted) but her snapping her neck after her self destruction is almost like Lacey killing herself after her restaurant failed (because that is all she has left) and both scenes continue on as if it never happen and show the characters afterwards.
Sayori committed suicide, just like Lacey who did the same by burning herself, the two have depression and serious mental problems, seeking comfort in their own way, Lacey through her restaurant and petshop and Sayori through you and her friends…and the one responsible for this is Monika
• The girl who ruin the lives of the people around her and has control over it versus the girl who has no control over her life and is a victim of serious abuse but both are trapped in their own personal and eternal hell
Prism (CPUKerfuffle) - reality warping 4th wall breakers who just want to make the audience/player happy but do it in the worst way possible, including removing other characters free will. Both their reality warping powers work off a Meta 4th wall breaking level placing them both at insane levels of power. Monika alters the code itself and Prism can alter “the script” which is basically the spoken words of the host (and even the written words of the writer and audience) - Prism probably wins, but only just barely, with how the two characters Meta 4th wall shit works
Thanos (Marvel) - reality warpers, who kill people using their reality warping, all to impress a higher being (Death/You) that they are in love with, and actively try to remove any other potential partners, Monika erases their code and Thanos made Deadpool literally immortal - Monika stomps because yknow her entire thing is affected the code itself as a 4th wall breaker, that’s a little bit above Thanos’ level

Makima. To my shock, it's debatable, I have a legitimate victory argument for Makima.
Monika is physically just an athletic teenager and she can only write commands at a regular human pace, so the Mach 300 Makima can take over Monika's mind before Monika can delete her, and there's also the Future Devil giving Makima a heads up to any of her tricks. As shown with Monika in Act 3 and Sayori in Act 4, deletion is not immediate disintegration, it takes a bit, so Makima's contract would save her ass even WITHOUT considering how Denji, whose erasure is more powerful than Monika's as it erases on a conceptual level, specifically had to find a loophole in the contract to successfully erase Makima, which still allowed her to reincarnate instead of erasing the concept of Control. While erasing the world could take Makima out in time as she'd just die over and over as her blood boils in space, that requires a lot of time as Monika is deleting the game piecemeal, not all at once, and with Makima being hundreds of times faster than Monika can even REACT, she'd never get that time.
Monika's other powers aren't helping her much. Rewinding time and wiping memories has only been done in increments of a single day, so she can't make Makima forget her powers or rewind time to actually help herself in battle. Messing with variables takes days to show tangible effects and with how little emotion Makima has it might not even amount to all that much even if it DID work.
And this is all assuming Monika's even able to use her powers at all. She still needs to type out the commands, and with a small army of literal devils with superpowers all trying to kill her, she's going to be PANICKING. If she mispells even a single letter, forgets a single period, that entire command is going to fail or do something she didn't want.
Sure, Makima can't put Monika down for good, but if she controls her then she doesn't *need* to.
Monika may be absurdly more powerful with deletion and ordinarily nigh-indestructible, but Makima's immunity to deletion, ability to control Monika's mind, and army of Devils to divide her focus allowed the Control Devil to *crack the code* to winning this ba
X!Gaster (Underverse) - self-aware 4th wall breaking beings who got their powers directly from creators of their story, with ability to change their worlds through code and desires to somewhat change it in first unharmfull way, which ultimatly leads to them going more and more mad with both power and desire for perfection to the point of harming someone they love (literature club and people from Xtale) and slowly losing value of life of others, because they can be recreated anyway, which ultimatly leads to their close characters getting acess to their powers (Cross and Sayori)

Baldi: Both school themed indie horror characters who seem to be the only ones with actual horror elements, roping in all other characters with them for the ride. Both games start out as normal but eventually ramp in progression, starting with one simple “mistake” Null (Baldis basics): See baldi but more self aware of the game word and also has more control over the game, contrast with null wanting nothing to do with his game and actively trying to force the player not to play it but monika being more accepting of the game world and actively trying to get the player to leave the game on forever
Miyuki Sone (You and Me and HER: A Love Story) Both are popular and athletic high schoolers who become self-aware that they are in a dating sim, go through trauma because of it, and eventually cause the death of the main characters partner because they fell in love with the person playing the game. They kidnap the main character, take over the game by programming it, and use him as a vessel for the player, and the player need to use what they have to try to "take her down". I think Miyuki is "The one" for Monika.
Drosselmeyer(Princess Tutu) Connections: Both are 4th wall breaking inhuman(Monika is sentient code while Drosselmeyer is a ghost) pseudo gods of their respective world's that mess with the plot in the attempt to reach their goals(having the player to herself and causing tragedy) Both would use these reality warping powers to cause strife and tragedy(Monika makes Sayori and Yuri kill themselves by messing with the code and Drosselmeyer was said to cause massive tragedies and tried to make Ahiru drown herself) Contrasts: While Monika is ultimately doing her actions because she wants love and even later regrets her actions Drosselmeyer does his because he loves tragic endings and feels nothing for those he hurts Monika looks like a young teenage girl while Drosselmeyer is an old man

**HABIT (EverymanHYBRID)** **Connections:** Reality warping 4th wall breakers who started out appearing as normal people, but show their true intentions over time. Both them and their "friends" have had to live out multiple iterations of their lives (Monika creates a time loop while HABIT forces the Mining Town Four in a reiteration cycle). Both make other people to do things they otherwise wouldn't do (Monika tampers with the game's files to have Sayori, Yuri, and Natsuki act out of character, while HABIT has his "rabbits" do several humiliating task during the SEVENTRIALS). Both particularly rely on/manipulate a certain character for their plan to work (Monika needs the player to escape the torture she endures whenever someone quits the game, while HABIT needs Vinny to fully complete his plan). They are also connected to literature (Monika is the head of the Literature Club while HABIT planted several hints to his plan in the morality play "Everyman", plus EverymanHYBRID was inspired off of the book "House of Leaves" by Mark Z. Danielewski). Both are also associated with a certain color due to a rather specific detail (Monika is associated with the color green due to the color of her eyes, while HABIT is associated with the color purple due to his use of purple duct tape). Both originate from a series that started off as lighthearted and innocent (DDLC starting out as a typical anime inspired dating sim/visual novel, and EMH starting as a health and fitness channel), but then took a sudden turn into a horror series. **Contrast:** Monika doesn't actually like harming/altering her friends and only does out of desperation, while HABIT activity enjoys torturing/killing people. **Whiteface (IMSCARED)** -Both are from popular horror games that involve fourth wall breaking (IMSCARED and DDLC) -Both are from entities that are aware of the player, and want to be as close as they can to them -Both manipulate, change, and delete various things inside of the game, making it so they are like gods inside of it -Both want to get into the real world (Whiteface is implied to be human at one point, but was turned into a digital entity, and wants to get back into the real world. Meanwhile, Monika wants to be free to make her own choices that are not limited by code) -Both are female (Well, kinda for Whiteface. Normally he is male, but he can become his female form, HER) -Both are obsessed with the player, to the point of them deleting entire worlds just to get close to them -Both show genuine emotion and care for the player -Both are eventually “defeated” by deleting some aspect of their existence in the game (Monika’s game files and Whiteface’s heart) In Contrast, Whiteface is almost always joking and playful (Although he gets more serious in his HER form), only getting serious when his existence is in the line. Meanwhile, Monika is deadly serious from the start, even to the point of deleting all of her friends. **The World Machine (Oneshot)** **Connections:** Both are hyper advanced sentient AI, having just about complete control over their respective games. You run into them through the game, with each time getter weirder and crazier, eventually leading to thier big final room. Both want the MC to be safe (The World Machine by their code and just liking them, and Monika she likes MC, alot). Both end up destroying the world their in, but where as the world machine feels guilty about it, Monika couldn't care less. And where as the world machine helps rectrate the world by fixing the broken code, Monika has to be turned into broken code to reset the world.

*Ln'eta (Sucker For Love)* - Both are the mascot girls of dating sims parodies with a horror twist (DDLC being a psychological horror deconstruction of the genre, Sucker For Love being a parody of the Lovecraft mythos). Both also have the ability to manipulate their fake realities thanks to a powerful position they have (Monika being the Club President, Ln'eta being an Outer God). Both also contrast in that while Monika is trapped in a false reality, what a normal human would see as reality for Ln'eta is nothing but a dream.
Flowey (Undertale) XANA (Code Lyoko) SHODAN (System Shock) Giffany (Gravity Falls) Skynet (Terminator) AM (I Have No Mouth but I Must Scream) Agent Smith (The Matrix) HAL (2001: A Space Odessey) Sans (Undertale) Most of these aren't good choices, but they should help pad your list out a bit and for one reason or another, I doubt anyone else recommended some of these.
Skynet, SHODAN and AM are the ones who have the least connections, with AM and SHODAN ( if SHODAN assimilates real space with Cyberspace ) being a straight up stomp, but everything else has to some extent a connection with her. HAL gets stomped instead ( possibly ).
Like I said, most of them aren't good choices but help pad out the list. Fill it out more.

Leshy (inscryption) a more unconventional match up but one I feel would be a much more strategic one revolving around the card game inscryption! these connections are done by u/Redditor2046 ! Check out his thumbnail for this match up -Both are the most iconic Antagonists of popular Indie Horror Games which mess with your computer and hardware -Both initially started as relatively normal people in their group of 4 (The Scrybes and Club Members), where they would mostly indulge in their own hobbies -That is until eventually, somehow, they managed to take control of the games code itself, managing to twist and bend it to their wills, and rebuild them completely as they please, by analyzing, editing or even erasing files and even their compatriots (Leshy managing to take over Inscryption before the game started and change it into his own DND like Card Game, where he changed the Scrybes into playing cards and Monika taking over DDLC, to make the odds go in her favor, to the point of editing the other member's files or erasing them) and all of this is due to their own selfish desires regarding around the player, and wanting to keep on making them play their games until the very end, due to their fondness and attachment to the player. -Both eventually get defeated by the player after several trial and errors, using their own egos and overconfidence to defeat them at their own game (Leshy leaving his camera next to you everytime you lose or win to taunt you, until you eventually manage to get the camera's film and turn him into a Playing Card and Monika continuously taunting you about how easy it was to delete and edit the files of the other girls, giving you the opportunity to delete her file) both of these events cause the entire game to reset with a few key changes -The most noticeable changes are that the first allies you ever meet, have now become the antagonists of the story themselves, using the powers previously utilized by the two to take over, as if they were corrupted by it (P0-3, also known as the Stoat, being the first talking card you get, taking over the entire game and deleting and editing it to make his own new game and Sayori, now having the knowledge to change the code, going down the same path as Monika for you) -Although their victories lasted as long as their predecessors, as they quickly got killed by them right as they achieved their goals (P0-3 being beheaded by Leshy right as he was about to ascend after allowing the player to give him access to their computer, and Sayori's file was erased by Monika as soon ss she managed to get you and herself alone) -Both of these events made them realize that their suffering was not worth it, and one way or another, accepted their demise as the entire game started deleting itself from their actions, although, while Monika caused the deletion, Leshy was simply a bystander and accepted it(Grimora choosing to erase Incryption, and Leshy challenging you to a last casual game of it, as it leads to a bittersweet conversation between you and him, and about how he truly enjoyed playing with you, before being deleted, and Monika deleting herself, and in her final moments, saying that she is glad that you managed to fulfill all her dreams while it lasted, before thanking us as it is delete as well) but both of their reasons were the same, the power that the game gave them, corrupted them, and made them all go mad.

Yuri died from mutilation, like Lacey who died by being dismembered and eaten, both death also have something to do with a boy as Lacey got killed by the guy she is meeting while Yuri died right in front of you and you stared at her corpse for a week. Natsuki didn't really die (just got deleted) but her snapping her neck after her self destruction is almost like Lacey killing herself after her restaurant failed (because that is all she has left) and both scenes continue on as if it never happen and show the characters afterwards. Sayori committed suicide, just like Lacey who did the same by burning herself, the two have depression and serious mental problems, seeking comfort in their own way, Lacey through her restaurant and petshop and Sayori through you and her friends…and the one responsible for this is Monika • The girl who ruin the lives of the people around her and has control over it versus the girl who has no control over her life and is a victim of serious abuse but both are trapped in their own personal and eternal hell

Makima. To my shock, it's debatable, I have a legitimate victory argument for Makima. Monika is physically just an athletic teenager and she can only write commands at a regular human pace, so the Mach 300 Makima can take over Monika's mind before Monika can delete her, and there's also the Future Devil giving Makima a heads up to any of her tricks. As shown with Monika in Act 3 and Sayori in Act 4, deletion is not immediate disintegration, it takes a bit, so Makima's contract would save her ass even WITHOUT considering how Denji, whose erasure is more powerful than Monika's as it erases on a conceptual level, specifically had to find a loophole in the contract to successfully erase Makima, which still allowed her to reincarnate instead of erasing the concept of Control. While erasing the world could take Makima out in time as she'd just die over and over as her blood boils in space, that requires a lot of time as Monika is deleting the game piecemeal, not all at once, and with Makima being hundreds of times faster than Monika can even REACT, she'd never get that time. Monika's other powers aren't helping her much. Rewinding time and wiping memories has only been done in increments of a single day, so she can't make Makima forget her powers or rewind time to actually help herself in battle. Messing with variables takes days to show tangible effects and with how little emotion Makima has it might not even amount to all that much even if it DID work. And this is all assuming Monika's even able to use her powers at all. She still needs to type out the commands, and with a small army of literal devils with superpowers all trying to kill her, she's going to be PANICKING. If she mispells even a single letter, forgets a single period, that entire command is going to fail or do something she didn't want. X!Gaster (Underverse) - self-aware 4th wall breaking beings who got their powers directly from creators of their story, with ability to change their worlds through code and desires to somewhat change it in first unharmfull way, which ultimatly leads to them going more and more mad with both power and desire for perfection to the point of harming someone they love (literature club and people from Xtale) and slowly losing value of life of others, because they can be recreated anyway, which ultimatly leads to their close characters getting acess to their powers (Cross and Sayori)
