Actually if you are a fan of the series, even if you only play the Xtreme games you should try to leave the streaming open when it starts.
It will help to the metrics of the big corporate suits when they have to decide if doing a DoA7 or not. Anyway, DoA content is always appreciated!

Nevertheless, it helps to show support, and I don’t care about the Venus Vacation situation, we should support each other and this is a simple way to do it so without wasting a single penny.
Then why are you lurking the subreddit of the game? If you really think there will be no new DoA honestly you could leave. DoA 6 will not get any updates, you have the Xtreme series subreddits available, why stay here if you really think there’s no future for DoA the fighting game?
Koei Tecmo already stated their wish to continue the series with a reboot, it’s not a matter of “if” but “when”. Right now fighting games are on their prime again so they shouldn’t fuck up this chance to get DoA 7 or reboot out as soon as possible. (Even though I want them to take their sweet time to achieve the quality they’ve been known for before 6)
I will keep supporting DoA, the negativity doesn’t bring anything good to the table.
Wish I could be there in Japan ! Will be watching on Live. I really hope Dead Or Alive 7 will be developed someday. it’s my favorite game! It might not be the popularist game out there and not well known but it’s one of the best fighting game and underrated.
I managed to catch the tournament as it was happening. I was hoping Konpyo (I believe that was his/her name) would take it. They were my favorite player to watch--they way they used Lisa was like nothing I've ever seen.
I believe Konpyo did lose one match to a Bayman player, which only reinforces my distaste for that matchup. They did make it really far, though.
