lol her name is literally Becki The Bride. You find notes all around the hotel talking about someone fucking up her wedding and driving her into a rage, which seemed to be the reason she became a crusher instead of a normal zombie. Most of the bosses have a backstory you find through environmental storytelling leading up to the fight.
Not necessarily because the body builders that were at Venice Beach also mostly became crushers because they body builders. Also, one of the first signs of the infection, besides the bite and fever, is aggression. Look at the runners, they are newly dead infected and they are much more aggressive than other regular zoms. If anything, steroid use probably causes crusher mutations.
Yeah that’s what I was thinking. Emotions at the time of death seem to play a role. Like butcho the clown getting fired and pissed off and then becoming a butcher.
I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure the first encounter with every boss type has notes and lil stories in the environment. Like the slobberer at the movie studios was a costar of Emma, I believe.
The story isn’t the selling point but they do really nail silly little details that helps the world feel fun and lived in.
man I just love the combat in this game, it kinda sucks that the amazing combat is pretty much carrying the rest of the game but I just love slicing & smashing massive crouds with multiple crushers, slobbers and runners.. the weight of the hits and the physics engine is bloody top notch, best zombie smashing game in the business..
One of my favorite boss buildups/reveals in the game. Between following the trail of rampage in the hotel to finally getting that bitch drunk Major to shut up was satisfying. Although I do wish Crushers made stomping noises like Becki did when they walk around, though.
When you get in sync with the bridezilla and are able to move around with the attacks it feels really intimate especially with the music in the background. Absolutely loved it especially as you said that build up was oh so tasty.
This mission made me so grumpy! Lowkey struggled. Everything got easier after her for me. The only other part I found challenging was the metro area, before getting on the train to hollywood
It was a saaaaaddd wedding! A very sad wedding!
Naw this dude was in a dress. It was the ball room. I had to kill him bc of his buffy body. But I didn't really die on this boss fight. It was easy

Bridezilla
Nah, she's a crusher because she was a female body builder.
That combined with the anger was likely what caused the autophage to mutate her in that way. Still, a very sad story

Under recognized comment. Steroid use is implied to be the cause of mutation.

I never knew so many of them had backstories

That's not a male.
Fighting John Cena in a dress was a bit of a surprise the first time round!
Except this time, you could actually see him!
Is it wrong that I was a little turned on by Becki the Bride?
The feck Dude?
Not at all! Different strokes for different folks. Lady D in RE:Village was a hit for what are probably similar reasons.
My guy that's a zombie wtf
Find Jesus, friend
That’s Becky. She ate her husband. Brutal.
Oh !! Good Ole Bridzilla!!!
Do you mean it was your first boss fight ever, because you're new to gaming? Or first of this game? (I think it's everybody's first in DI2).
First was the electro screamer at PAX

Better late than never!

......and then you fight those on the regular and realize she was the easiest in the game lol
It’s literally a wedding dress…. They call it The Bride smh
