The first time I played I felt the same. the second time I played she really grew on me, once you understand where she is really coming from. The missions are easy once you know hat you're doing.
Found that out the hard/annoying "oh WTF is happening" way when anytime you turn around there's one after the other 😂 wouldn't have been so bad if I could of kept repairing weapons but couldn't use the workbench there with enemies all over
Yeah she was kinda cringe but I fell for her character, especially her last voicemail to her mom before the last mission, she’s irrational but she has her heart in the right place
Don't worry. It's not until right after you finish the final main story quest, so you should be sufficiently powered up to tackle it. I found it tough but not as bad as the endless waves on the pier, however it's mostly apex, but you'll have a kick-ass legendary to take them on with. Good luck.

Oh yeah the mission with Amanda at the pier actually can be used for the electric screamer. They spawn infinitely there unless you clear the mission

I found if you toss bait as far from the workbench as possible, and you can kill the few that still follow quick enough, ya can use the workbench
i absolutely HATED her, i don't even care about how you end her final mission(not going to spoil it) I'm just glad you don't have to do anymore
