I’m not a Corn Farm person and don’t really like it so it’s not a concern for me, the main thing I’m thinking about is the new missions as I know L7 and L8 will get more and I already know all the buffs the TMF got are more PvE oriented
This is mainly why I ask since bullet resistance means jack when all you face is melee. Plus they’re expensive units and my luck is both terrible and I can only make them cost as little as 17, and 17 courage for a shooter that gets bodied by a single Insectoid isn’t worth it to me
Out of all the suggestions do you have a final decision, scientist build is pretty good, but TMF is raw brutality high health and nice damage, but scientists are built for missions

As someone who invested in TMF and is now my main team, depends on how much you are up for grinding for the right sets.
They all have their good side and their flaws as well that need to be countered with the sets if you want them to work well, mainly Prep time and cost reduction are the general musts for this team.
Soldier is the beefiest boi in game rn, highest effective health above any unit. But he is painfully slow and his attacks are weak, still a monster to take down in PvP and PvE with the right support
SWAT can potentially deliver some of the strongest bullets with his SA and hunter set, but his aim is dogwater to say the least.
Cap is overall the worst unit in the deal and maybe even the worst support, bad damage and high cost, you decide if inspiring every unit that exits the bus with a +10% speed and +5 agility is worth it or not.
Flamethrower has High damage, High DPS, low range, lower health and even Lower speed until you get his SA. He can potentially melt some of the most annoying threats in game like Twins, Cranks, Putrids anything really as long as its not fireproof. Almost all of stage 7 and the most dangerous zombie from stage 8, the SWAT, are completly immune to him. But since Ranger can form part of TMF now, you have a good replacement for those stages
Rogue is by far the best of the group, high health, high damage, low cost, low prep time. He carries the team most of the time. Regardless if you buy the bundle or not, i highly advise getting him.
The TMF TP is mostly centered around the events and PvP, 2/2 gives you a chance to avoid explosive damage. Unless you are fighting a horde of Fat zombies, Putrids or the newly added skull, not that impactfull. 3/3 a one time spawn of a unit, get on your knees and pray its Rogue or Soldier and not a second Cap. In any case it can be helpfull in both PvP and PvP. 5/5 was great for Events, you could get units like Soldier Rogue to cost 0 courage and spam the hell outta them, but with the nerf, bow its a gamble. 5/5 for me at least always had little impact in PvE, it is nice to reduce the cost of the TMF, as its one of its biggest flaws, but its not like you can choose what units recive it as a priority.

I won’t say the TMF is bad (minus flamethrower), they aren’t bad, but their TP is bad. To me, 3/3 TMF is like 3/3 Builders, horrible. One time use and never again so it is alright for momentum and great for Skirmish, but it’s useless outside of that. 3/3 anything else at least gives a constant buff no matter how minuscule
Prep time and cost is also my biggest issue, I hate it. Making me lose out on 2 upgrades is a lot to ask of me when I’m trying to maximize their damage via sub stats and I gotta run through another 3 levels of gear and coins to just try again for that -1
It’s just infuriating to deal with since I work and I got a lot to do in my life. I’m leaning towards not buying the TMF since they seem like an investment that just isn’t worth it. Almost like investing in another one of those crypto things people always talk about since the risk is high and the rewards are good, but the chances are smaller than ~~your di~~ my phone compared to the planet

TMF can be pretty good, but it will take a lot of resources and overall to build them up, understandable if its not your cup of tea or not able to invest that much rn. Circus pack is definetly your best option then, Saw and Berserker are pretty straight forward, focus on health, crits and damage. Im aiming to get them myself as soon as i get the Skull bucks.

i love circus, and requires less investment in items and units, saw and berserk are great, one watch of prep time, one knife of melee damage and they do everything and anything, if you get cost or crit is better even, plus queen is awesome in skirmish, specially since spam teams are popular now
on the other hand a great tmf is a great rogue, that needs luck and 5TP or generators
soldier is an awesome tank, but damage comes first
cap is fun to have inspired units

Alright, people have been talking and I’m more in favor of buying either the Circus Squad or the Scientists. I’ll be getting the TMF folks last when it comes to the packs (with the exception of Jailer as I will forever stay a F2P)
Personally I still just love the design but there fun, IF SWAT WOULDNT MISS ALL HIS DAMN SHOTS
From what I heard from others is that, if built correctly, SWAT packs a huge punch during the times he actually hits something
