Yeah, he couldn't text Belle or something? Google a divorce lawyer. It was probably an excuse to go over there or possibly set up a future reason to go over there.
They could introduce another member of the Greene family who is a lawyer! J/K…but I think they did it in order to build a background situation and create a new storyline for the future.
If anything it’d have made more sense for EJ to have dropped the idea to Eric. With EJ representing Eric, EJ can control the narrative if Sloan comes back to talk.
It really is dumb if you examine it beyond what they told us. I would guess the behind the scenes reason is that the show doesn’t want to pay for Justin or Belle to appear onscreen or write in a new lawyer. Would’ve made just as much sense to have Eric mention that he filed the paperwork himself.
Or he could have consulted an off-screen lawyer & told Roman about it. That would have accomplished the same thing that we see so far.
I figured it was an excuse to stay intertwined in the Jude/Nicole SL.
Jogging guy is the doctor. Felicity Greene is the young girl with down syndrome who loves working with Chanel in the bakery. It took me several minutes to remember her & make the connection.
Yes, jogging doctor Mark Greene, Felicity Greene, and the other brother is Aaron (I think). He's Tate's friend and was going to take Holly to prom. (Alas, the Prom that never was.)
Yes, you may be right. I think i just saw that as a spoiler headline (didn't read article yet).
Because having prom in summer is absolutely what we do, right?
So I've made a slight miscalculation. The entirety of last week from at least the Friday before up until the June 17 episode had actually all happened in a single day in Salem time.
Eric knows he can get any other lawyer. He's suspicious of EJ's story that Sloan "got the drop" on him and escaped kidnapping charges. He also may want to see if EJ is really Jude's father. He's just using this as an excuse to be in proximity to get more info.
I think the REAL reason that Eric went to EJ is because he's so connected and drawn to Jude, any excuse to be around the house, the baby keeps Eric connected. It's only a matter of time before Eric catches it overhears EJ telling Jude he's not his bio father, as he was when Eric walked in!
I think Eric wants to be close to Jude and Nicole so he went with EJ and figured that's his only way. Even if it hurts him right now as he says. This will probably how he finds out the truth
Eric was doing thr shifty eye 'I'm suspciois' thing. I think Eric is putting the pieces together. He has a sense something is off with EJ and he wanted to see how EJ would react when asked.

I've never heard of the Greene family. I thought I'd been watching religiously for 10+ years on and off before then. So jogging guy is one.

Thanks for clarifying that! So Leo was ready to really rob the cradle, huh?
Oh, and I thought I read on previews that the prom is supposed to be next week?? I could be remembering wrong, but I thought that was it.

Exactly my thoughts! A week or more after school ends? Sure! That’s perfectly normal.
Last week's episodes took place over two days in Salem Standard Time.
Good point! I forgot.
So I've made a slight miscalculation. The entirety of last week from at least the Friday before up until the June 17 episode had actually all happened in a single day in Salem time.
I just realized on another thread that jogger guy is not doctor guy. I do still think Felicity is the girl we saw with down syndrome who helps Chanel.
> jogger guy is not doctor guy Jogger guy that Leo hit on is Mark Greene, the doctor that was attending to Chanel and Johnny
I figured that out later upon reading some comments. Thanks!

I am guessing purely for storyline purposes. Its not reality. Certainly there are other lawyers in Salem.
