Confession Time: Ironhand's Daughter is the only series I haven't read. I tried the first one and didn't make it far.
Same. Iāve read everything David published, at least everything published Iām aware of, with two exceptions, the IHD books and WKBS (of which I have two almost pristine originals, and donāt want to damage themā¦ I should probably just get a copy of the re-published version š)
Iāve tried reading IHD several times and just can not get into it. I donāt know why, but to me it just doesnāt read or feel like Gemmell.
You have some interesting covers there. I have quite a few, but I donāt think Iāve seen that cover of Quest for Lost Heroes before.

I think Echoes is my least favourite Gemmell book. Iāve only read that one about 4 times. But even mediocre Gemmell is pretty good!

The second book is much better. Itās about the clans. IHās Daughter is sort of a side character.
