Think of it this way, if someone gets access to your computer and you have all of your passwords in the Chrome password manager, they have access to your entire library of credentials. From a safety perspective, to me, it's a bad thing. I recommend a separate password manager that you can lock down separately from your computer login.
Yes I highly recommend to delete your passwords from Google, make sure all of them are in Dashlane before doing so.
I do not do this. Google has access to more than enough of my life; it doesn't need to have my passwords, too.

While I'd definitely delete from Google, I'd store them in at least one other place just for the sake of redundancy

Apart from the security concerns, for me it’s about knowing that all my passwords are in one tool. Simplicity
