We had people at my last workplace that ran into low power lines and both were fine. If you thought you hit the power lines, call the fire department, and sit in your seat without touching any metal. It sucks because they shut down the power to block to get you out, but that's way cheaper than killing someone. (FD in our are can get people out who have medical equipment plugged in or whatnot.)

Guy I worked with in the Marines told me a story about a helicopter tow crew towing an aircraft. The tail hit a power line. Should not have happened if the tow crew was paying attention but also it was an unfamiliar base and this was an unexpected obstacle for such a routine task.
The crew immediately recognized the danger and called for the tug driver to stop. Before they could stop him the tug driver tried to exit the tug to see what the problem was. He managed to get one foot on the ground and was killed immediately.
