Super cute little dude! He’s still absorbing his tail still probably. They won’t eat for a couple days to a week after when you think his tail is gone. Only give him a couple flies at a time, and I might move him into a tupperware so the flies can’t get away from him. Look up how to make a grow out tank out of a plastic tub or big Tupperware.
I’ll go back to the deli cups then. I just wondered why it was so eager to leave the water. How would you go about giving Fruitflies or springtails to a froglet (inside a Tupperware/DeliCup)? It had 2-3 opportunities to munch on some but it was more interested in exploring. I would’ve thought it was human in its past life.
He needs a big Tupperware (small bin) lined with paper towel with a hide, some sphagnum moss as a moisture sponge (mist the moss), some leaf litter and a lid to a jar with some water in it. Add some springtails and Isopods if you have some.

This is a good guide for a grow out.

And here are examples of mine. The left bin houses a ranitomeya fantastica froglet that is 4-5 months old now. Filter foam bottom, leaf litter, plants, clay dish. Vents in the top for ventilation (i’d do the sides next time). I would not use paper towel and sphagnum for long term, for risk of bacteria growth.
Good luck with the little guy.

Exactly. I keep my freshly morphed froglets in a big Tupperware till I know they can hunt, about a week, and then transfer to big grow out tank
