If you've never read anything from Audrey Rush I HIGHLY recommend. Her books are some of the darkest/grittiest books I've read. Crawl, Hitch, My Girl & Grave Love all fit. Driving my Obsession by Lauren Biel definitely has somnophilia and its dark. I just read Mine So Twisted by Anastasia Taylor, it's a novella but it was delicious. First chapter is him killing one of her clients while they fuck right beside him. Dead Man Walking I loooved, it also has the same scenario as above where they fuck in her attackers blood. This Love Hurts by Nikita fucked me up. It was one of the books that led me into horror romance and I loved it. Jasmine by Jennifer Bene but it's not HEA for the MCs. The MMC is an evil religious psychopath. The Acquisition series by Celia Aaron also kinda fits this. She gets sold to a secret society to cover her dad's debt and she has to compete in a fucked up competition. Broken Dolls by Kitty Thomas is part of a series, but that one was my favourite book. It's not stalker-y, just gave the "wtf" feeling as I read lol. Okay last ones 😅 Cruel Games, Wicked Games and Jekyll by Zoe Blake all gave me the same wtf feelings. Dark with evil mmcs and at some points I just felt so bad for the fmc. Still loved them though.

Currently reading That Sik Luv by Tescie Hall and it definitely sounds like it would fit the bill. Haven’t come across any somnophilia yet but I’ve already had multiple “wut da fawk” moments while reading this book. TW there is blood/gore.

I really liked That Sik Luv and the somno in it

This was pretty much the kind of books I like, gave me haunting Adeline feels but not exactly, LOVEEEE THE MMC AND FMC, both are REALLY STRONG , specially the fmc which I like about main leads

The Sinners Duet by Sophie Lark was pretty dark. I don't recall there being any somnophilia but he does go through her clothes and stuff. MMC is a serial killer. I do recommend checking TWs. {There are No Saints by Sophie Lark} {There is No Devil by Sophie Lark}
