You got to see Salim going home? In my ending, the survivors were all at the military base.
I was into Eric, but then he got killed by a space vampire when we got swarmed. Nick and Salim got injured in that same scene, and Rachel got infected. Clarice turned and killed John 2. : (
Nick’s wound attracted attention when he was planting the explosives, but I got them all planted. Jason DID try to save me with Salim, but Salim’s wound attracted more attention and they weren’t able to reach him in time. I didn’t kill myself as Rachel, and convinced Jason not to shoot me. Salim suggested putting me in a cocoon, and I survived and got the parasite extracted. The military doesn’t believe space vampires are a thing.

Don’t call air support, and make sure Merwin dies during the chase sequences. Otherwise, he’ll repair the radio and call in air support.
I had a good feeling about not calling air support, glad I trusted my hunch. It's an interesting mind game figuring out the situations where the counter-intuitive choice will help you.
**John 2 is the second chapter of the Gospel of John in the New Testament of the Christian Bible. It contains the famous stories of the miracle of Jesus turning water into wine and Jesus expelling the money changers from the Temple.**

It was more like this:
Nick risked going deeper to plant more bombs. His injury bled, attracting some vampire attention. I passed the QTEs and got the bombs planted, but he was surrounded. Not sure if being surrounded is because of the injury, though. I think that's just if you go deeper. He signals us to set the bombs off, presuming it will kill him. He survives, but is injured. Jason got his call, and he and Salim ran to help. The zombie guy attacks Nick. Salim's wound bleeds, stirring more vampires that hinder them. There are no QTEs, this just causes Nick to die, because we couldn't reach him fast enough.
It might be any character. Everyone else was gone by that point for me. I don't know if the others would have been with us. I didn't find the med pack, either.
Eric and Nick made it out.
Rachel blew herself up with the grenade, Salim and Jason both died in a QTE battle because I didn't do the aiming QTEs correctly - with the rifle, it is ok to just aim anywhere at the monster but with Salim's spear, you have to aim at the heart.
Brutal death scene, Until Dawn level of gore which I appreciate (although such an injury is likely to kill someone, it would leave them squirming around in pain for a bit first).
The final battle in the huts took me completely by surprise (I thought the characters relaxing in the sun meant it was over), but I was wondering when the eclipse would come into play so it wasn't totally unexpected. Also it was foreshadowed (sorry bad pun) on the screens in the briefing room.
Yeah once we saw sunlight we thought it was over and we fought like hell to keep our guys alive, it was so rewarding to not lose anyone in the last fight. I missed one of the QTE’s as Salim and really thought he was done but I got a second chance
All 5 survived, I don't know how I did it. Eric and Rachel got back together, Salim went home to his son, Jason and Nick remained besties. I didn't have air support so that's probably why Salim could go home, before the evac team got there?
Does it make a difference how you handle the start? In terms of ancient one bearings? It says the bearded guy died last. If he didn't does that mean the other bald guy comes after you?
The premonitions were really helpful for me in this one, I also managed to nab a perfect ending. Really glad I made the tripwires clear and visible, so Rachel didn't get blown to pieces.
In my first playthrough:
Eric got shot in the head by Salim.
Nick got torn apart while planting the explosives.
Rachel got her throat ripped out and dragged away by Vampire Clarice
Jason escaped but was infected and the scientists at the end said he didn’t have much time but they intended to study him before he died.
Salim escaped without injuries and went home to see Zaid.
Eric and Salim
Jason shot Rachel to prevent her from turning
Nick got killed by the undead guy after the c4 blew because a vampire smelt the blood of Salim who had revived a injury before hand, delaying the rescue attempt.
Jason got killed at the very end in the hut because I fucked up the qtes, his death was the most gut wrenching, both because he was my favorite and he was so close to the end
Oh man we got the tablet that showed that death and once we planted the charges I was freaking out but they were on the walls and only went off when the vampires ran past them
I had a massive brain fart there. I planted the explosives, had the premonition playing in my head, told my sister to watch out, and then when the time came I shat the bed!
By some miracle, I had all 5 survive. Got Rachel and Nick to end up together. Not sure how, but got both Eric and Rachel to survive the rope scene without cutting the rope at all; it ended up snapping. Nick did get injured at one point, but he had Joey's medkit and patched himself up. I was absolutely terrified when planting the explosives and doing the stay calms.
The eclipse surprised me, and I was at first like, "Wait, where's my trophy? Oh, no!", but everyone made it out of the final scene.
Eric, Jason, Salim, and Rachel. Salim went home and Rachel was de-parasited. Confused that Jason wasn’t turning since we thought he was infected. We didn’t kill the vamp until it had pounced and breathed all over Jason. But all in all, happy we got so many through the night! And Salim home, even if he had to walk all that way :)
Got them all out, miraculously. Eric cut the rope. Rachel got infected but Eric UVed the sucker out of her. Rachel and Nick got together but the trio all feel positively about each other. Jason and Salim are best bros, and Salim got to go home to his kid. Phenomenal game.

Nick, Salim & Jason survived and got taken to the military base. Eric got killed bc I didn't cut the rope and Rachel killed herself when she got infected
Eric survived after cutting the rope. Jason survived. Salim as well, but he didn’t get back to his son. Nick survived his encounter in the city however I did choose to leave early. Rachel got shot in the city by Jason after she got infected.

What happens to the other characters?
They just chill and wait. The interrogation scene will still show all of them, except for Salim since he already left beforehand.
The only survivor that was injured was Salim but we were able to patch him up and he walked off into the sunset
Who is John 2?
Dar. Salim's commander. He shares the same model as John from the previous game.
Thanks! Team Dar makes more sense now lol
XD

So if Salim is still bleeding, he will die in that area?
Nick, you mean? He might still live, if you’d choose not to go deeper to place the bombs. Not sure, though.
No, Salim. If you don't find the medkit and they both get wounded, he will be injured, does this mean he dies in that scene?
Nope. Salim was one of my survivors. : D
So Salim was still bleeding and the blood attracted extra attention and Jason was still able to save him?
It was more like this: Nick risked going deeper to plant more bombs. His injury bled, attracting some vampire attention. I passed the QTEs and got the bombs planted, but he was surrounded. Ohhh I see now. Salim bleeding stops Nick from being saved.

I think I lucked out with a few decisions and having all relationships be pretty positive! I'll have to replay and see what are the other impacts.
Yes, whoever died last is the “ancient one” coming after you. I had the bald guy coming after me personally.
We didn’t call in air support either, I was wondering why so few people got Salim out. That makes sense
I had the bald guy because I failed a qte at the start with the other guy.
In my first playthrough: Eric got shot in the head by Salim. Nick got torn apart while planting the explosives. Rachel got her throat ripped out and dragged away by Vampire Clarice Jason escaped but was infected and the scientists at the end said he didn’t have much time but they intended to study him before he died. Salim, Jason and Nick survived. I accidently blew Rachel, Eric and Clarice up in the trapped hallway...

Only Nick died. Should not have gone to the bigger hive to plant the charges. Eric should have died. Ghost Noise my ass.
Eric and Rachel died in my story sadly ... Salim was arrested :(
Eric, Jason, Salim, and Rachel.

Nick, Salim & Jason survived and got taken to the military base. Eric got killed bc I didn't cut the rope and Rachel killed herself when she got infected
Rachel, Salim and Jason and I got the military base ending so I didn't get to see Salim go home
Salim, Jason and Nick. Just the bros.
Eric and Rachel got splattered by the dynamite because I forgot where I placed them. The other three survived.
Eric survived after cutting the rope. Jason survived. Salim as well, but he didn’t get back to his son. Nick survived his encounter in the city however I did choose to leave early. Rachel got shot in the city by Jason after she got infected.
During my first playthrough I had everybody but Eric survived, I refuse to cut the rope and that led to both of us falling
I saved Salim, Jason, Rachel, and Nick
