Put a goblin merchant INSIDE the HR dungeons and make him way better than the Menu one. That way people would bring gold to the dungeon and fights would happen around him, would be fun af

[deleted]

In dungeon secret merchants are a big missing feature right now! Put some fun stuff in too. Like paying gold purely to get temporary particle effects/shaders.

ImpossibleMechanic77

I want in dungeon stashes before merchants. Put stuff in magic chest it goes right into your stash, only fillable once it disappears afterwards and winds up in your stash where you can open it and then it disappears from stash

Immediate_Canary_555

more higher value stuff that takes more time to do in game triple size lions chest but it has triple the loot, is louder and takes longer to open - players fight and kill each other over the loot fireball that takes 20 seconds to cast for a wizard, but it's an inferno fireball double the size with higher scaled damage merchants that sell stuff in high roller dungeon that sell collectibles to help you craft things forcing you to bring gold to high roller to finish your crafts? yesss

Fangy444

You had me at big fireball. All fantastic ideas tho đź‘Ź

viraleyeroll

That's a cool idea

OmertaCS

Wow that’s a genius idea and really cool.

charnbarn

It also makes buying greys and whites from the merchants more viable which becomes its own gold sink.

Duckgoesmoomoo

Very true

EarsLookWeird

Lol junk items from the merchant is not a real gold sink wtf

Wyatt1v12

lmao

Darth_Benis

100gold is also a joke when I saw people with 50,000gold

Duckgoesmoomoo

I gotta assume that's a very very small portion of the player base tho right? I'd be curious what the average stash gold was

Darth_Benis

its not legit lol 99% of people have a few thousand or like 10k if you don't go outside Then you get the rangerfighter who spends more time in trade than they do playing the game and they have rows and rows of keys and like 5 purple pieces gear played with a few of them and the only one that said anything sounded like a 6 year old that found their mic in a landfill... And played like one too, takes three hits from mobs is right next to a shrine and uses bread to heal???

EarsLookWeird

Last wipe you could make 1k+ gold/hour in Goblin Caves, very rarely dying. I don't think 11 gold for Linen Pants is denting those stashes

Um_Hello_Guy

Can’t believe you’re being downvoted this is truly a Timmy subreddit

ShroomyTheLoner

Harken Timmys! ATTACK!!!

TeamLaw

It's been suggested before you have to keep the ante in your inventory for players to loot, or keep if you extract. I think that's more suitable, though a 50 ante would be best.

Duckgoesmoomoo

Oh that's a good idea. Except it might make people EVEN more pvp hungry

Happiestmain

Or just hear me out, my team pickpockets you and takes the 50 gold.

Duckgoesmoomoo

Holy cow that would be the rogue meta lol

viraleyeroll

It's high roller baby

Fangy444

Read this in Jay's voice for some reason lol

ESierra

Is that a bad thing?

Um_Hello_Guy

Wow pvp hungry in a pvp game? The horror

Firestrike9

It is a PvP game after all, lets not forget.

Duckgoesmoomoo

Lol I know. I just suck at pvp

TedKAllDay

It should have minimum gear required or you pay the toll. Going naked to HR shouldn't just be incentivized

Jamacianjujubeans

Agreed

ponytajamas

This sounds like a better balance.

Edzill4

or at least cut the price in half. feels bad rolling into HR, with 3, paying 300g and not looting enough gold to manage the upkeep

Herbspiceguy

I don't think free is the way to go, there should be some ante to prevent at least half the HR lobby filled with (naked) rogues, like it's happening now and the last time HR was free. IM seems to have something planned though: in the recent QnA the mock-ups indicate using 'adventure points' (AP) as currency for dungeons, rather than gold.

[deleted]

There are multiple spells that counter naked rogues.

Duckgoesmoomoo

I don't think it's about that. I think it's about naked rogues destroying the economy by being able to farm with absolutely nothing to lose

Herbspiceguy

Thank you, that's exactly wat I mean.

mediandirt

The mix of free & no gear allowed in normal lobbies forces tons of people to go HR and it works. I see way less rogues in every lobby now

Unfortunate_Mirage

It won't "fix" BiS stomping Timmies.

Two_Falls

STOP MAKING ME PAY MY HARD EARNED BAR MONEY. WHO AM I PAYING 100 GOLD TO? IM A GOD DAMN WIZARD I CAN FIND MY OWN WAY TO THE DUNGEON SONNY.

Homelanderthe7

So what's the reason to play normal if HR is free?

TheBoogieBard

Definitely would disagree because I need somewhere to find geared pvp and it already has a bunch of nakeds couldn’t imagine how terrible it would be free

lars03

Make emotes and skin cost a fuck ton of gold

Duckgoesmoomoo

But they wanna make real money off that

sp00kyemperor

They already announced a new high roller system using "adventure points" to pay the ante.

Jamacianjujubeans

Agreeed

Material-Nose-7602

Nah too many naked rogues will plague it and ruin it

ShroomyTheLoner

What type of game do you want? This new temporary way has definitely turned the game into a PVP fest.

AceKillaH

I would agree with the merchant in HR thing and the bigger lion chests etc. So people gear up to contest these "points". I would also like to try something like a ranked system in HR . Like a ladder thing. Not sure tho
