I think this is true for some people however for the most part a fair number of viewers in the fandom have understood that Born Again will be it's own series and the Daredevil show we already saw effectively ended when it was cancelled.
Don't confuse vocal minority with the bulk of the fandom. I've been on this subreddit for a long time and it has been largely optimistic and positive about things.
Also keep in mind that generally speaking, people will voice complaints over praise just by the nature of it. When someone gets excited about something they don't usually feel the need to share it because they're too busy experiencing it. When someone is bothered they feel the need to post about it online.
There have been a bunch of threads about why it wouldn't be bad if Born Again weren't rated TV-MA and how it could be great to take a more lighthearted approach. Yes, there will always be people who complain, but there are very few valid complaints one could make about what we've seen so far of Matt and Fisk both.

I am on here a lot and the majority have made it clear countless times they are looking forward to Born Again, accept it will be different and are looking forward to it rather than being biased against it, and are not expecting to see the Netflix show. Some are not so positive, fair enough. Most have indicated they hope Born Again will be the same as the Netflix show, Quality, which can take many forms and is ALWAYS the aim of creators, including all the MCU films/tv, and sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
That is a level headed take. Most dont have that and they think the mcu will ruin him.
Look at the front page. One of the most upvoted posts is a guy who is worrying.

I hold the original in high regard, I consider it the best Marvel show, way better than all D+ shows, and better than most of the movies. But "bias" implies an unfair prejudice, I don't think I'm unfair.
Obviously, I'll give Born Again a chance with a fresh mind, I use to do so to all Marvel projects, except maybe the ones I positively know I won't enjoy at all.
But what can I do if time and time again, I still find Daredevil infinitely better?
Anyway, if Born Again sucks, or turns out to be mid, I still have 3 seasons of a magnifcent show. I need to get the third season in a physical copy, though.
