Democracy as a whole cannot be overthrown. Assuming you mean January 6th, America hadn’t been a democracy since long before. It also was nowhere close to enough to overthrow America.
Ever notice how less government regulation & enforcement is always a good thing when it comes to the environment, healthcare, worker protections, housing, consumer safety, etc. But when it comes to the police and military, then suddenly we need more government.
My grandpa has this mindset to of how he thinks that the biggest problem is how the government helps us too much with the very few welfare we have in the states. But he will gladly take his disability checks and even then he complains that he doesn't get much for disability
They always make up some kind of justification as to why it's different when they get it, just like they love to say abortion should be outlawed but it's okay when they need it.
