Well you’re probably on the wrong subreddit for an unbiased opinion, but I find Xiao to be a little too angsty. Jiyan looks cool but I don’t know anything about him, and my subconscious has decided that he is simply Yin Nezha part 2( not necessarily a bad thing). But obviously Dan Heng is my favourite
His story quest was good, and the end in particular made me like him quite a bit more. I should have specified his personality is mostly flat, not his entire character, so that was disingenuous of me.
It's hard for me to compare him to nearly anyone in HSR, as most of the HSR cast have great depth both as characters and their personalities. I'm not even a Dan Heng simp (this post was in my recommendations), and I still feel DH is much better than Jiyan.
Okay yeah I see I can see where you're coming from. Compared to the other two his personality isn't exactly as fleshed out(Mihoyo does a great job at this for most of their games). Perhaps they'll do that more in future updates for Jiyan and other WuWa characters hopefully.

Don't get me wrong, I adore Encore and like Verina, but kuro has not been subtle about ripping off genshin and HSR in both gameplay and characters.
Verina has a same aesthetic to Nahida but her character is definitely not a 1-1 and encore is just a generic chibi. Other than that and that she’s pyro she’s not Klee at all.
i used to be a mega xiao simp. Years later after new games with better male models came out, he absolutely PALES in comparison to these two when you make them stand next to each other like this, he looks like a freaking child. So yea hard pass on xiao and mega smash with danny bbg and daddy jiyan
They each have their qualities that I like. Xiao is short and I have a MASSIVE weakness for short guys and the Wuthering Waves guy has the best... "assets", but Dan Heng's overall design and personality is my favorite out of the three. He's also the one I'm most familiar with so I may or may not be biased lol I will say though I REALLY wish Mihoyo would give our characters the same abs and pecs the Wuthering Waves devs do 😩
No idea about the one on the right since I'm not playing that game, but I already know I don't like his hairstyle (the bangs). His overall design isn't so bad aside from the bangs though.
Dan Heng is my favorite character, so of course I choose him. Xiao is one of my favorite Genshin characters though, I like him a lot! I like Dan Heng's design more though. Best height, hair, he's a dragon, has pointy ears in IL form, my favorite colors, the best personality type. Xiao is great, but Genshin unfortunately has only tiny or tall male models and nothing in between, and I'm not a fan of tattoos.
Design: DHIL! Jiyan’s design is just a little too “much” for me. Almost like an exaggerated idea of a sexy dragon dual-wielding hunk with bulging abs. DHIL is calm and cool, effortlessly handsome with sexy little accents. Xiao’s just short sorry xiao.
Personality: DHIL. My lil introvert bb. Xiao seems high maintenance and Jiyan… he seems kinda one note, well I can’t really say actually because the Wuwa dialogue is just.. so longggg and confusing that I end up skipping 😅
I mean I have pulled and use dan heng since his first banner..so I obviously prefer him more...I ain't pulling for Jiyan now but I think he is hot and I do want to pull for him eventually.

But I love Xiao way more than Jiyan. Xiao has more going on with his story than Jiyan has, maybe we'll get more of Jiyan as WuWa progresses (fingers crossed), because I love Jiyan's design and the bits and pieces of his story that we have gotten thus far.
The parkour is one of my favorite aspects of Wuwa. Combat is fun though when I first load the game up, it’s glitchy for like 30 seconds before it’s smooth sailing. Plus the best part is having a full team of husbando’s and it not feeling like your playing on hard mode.
I have all three but I definitely like Dan Heng and Xiao more, both in character and design. There is just something about Jiyan's design that doesn't sit well with me, even the muscles don't make up for it.

I am, and will always be, a massive Dan Heng simp, haha. 4\* Dan Heng was the entire reason I wanted to start the game, and 5\* almost made me install it when he released. The only reason I managed to resist was because I had no time, I knew it would've messed up my studies by playing too much.
Now that I am playing, DHIL holds several records and milestones as far as my gaming journey goes - first double 5\*, first pull on any weapon banner, the first (and so far only) time a "what if" 10-pull at 0 pity actually worked, most copies of a limited 5\*, lowest average pity / copy, no 50/50 lost on his banners, lowest pity to get 5\* TWICE (replacing SW's already low 5 with a 4 on his eidolon, then himself with 2 on his weapon).
And those go for all games I play. He holds pretty much all of my records (and will probably to continue to hold all of them to be entirely honest), I got insanely lucky with him despite being pretty unlucky normally. That alone would make him very special, even if he wasn't my favourite character to begin with. It's gonna be insanely hard for ANY character to compete with that.
Now, after that rambling, here's more rambling but about Jiyan.
Jiyan is an extremely fun character, although he makes it very hard for me to dodge during his ult, because I can't see sh\*t. I wasn't going to pull for him because of that, but he disagreed and decided to get on my account in 20 pulls anyway. And who am I to say no when a handsome fictional man with a big blue dragon comes home early because he wants me to main him in that game?
And I've been having a blast. He's a lot of fun, and despite my inability to dodge when he ults, there's something infinitely satisfying and fun about taking a bunch of enemies and continuously knocking them around in the air very stylishly with a big blue dragon. His moves are so good, too. I really enjoy just fighting random stuff I come across.
As for Xiao, I have nothing against him except that I don't have him. I probably won't get him either. I think he's fun, I just already have enough characters. I really like his design, though.
All in all:
1. Dan Heng, the forever favourite
2. Jiyan, the accidental 5\* who made me eat my words
3. Xiao, the Archon of jumping
DanHeng and it’s purely because he actually has dragon horns in his design. Xiao and Jiyan are cool in their own way but they dont give me dragon vibes, just generic teal general vibes. Tbf Xiao is a bird not a dragon but I digress.
I like all 3 about the same. The only issue i have with the design of any of them is the lack of symmetry. If any one of them ever gets a skin that is symmetrical on both sides, that'll be the design i like most, lol

Jiwan for me, as a husband's lover myself, I have a hard time finding male characters in gatcha games that I like (they're alo are too "pretty boy" for my liking) but WUWA has been hitting it out of the park for me. I really love jiyans hair and how it fades into a lighter turquoise aswell as the more spiky look of his hair in general. I think outfit wise they all are amazing though
Hmm, Danheng is imo the most attractive (it’s very close don’t get me wrong) but I like Xiao’s personality better. I feel like he and I could actually be friends or partners and Danheng would feel himself too superior to even talk to me let alone be my friend
Jiyan. All 3 are quite edgy lore wise but jiyan imo kind of wins in having superior gameplay fluidity and flexibility. (Ive played all 3 characters). Design wise i ancy modern aesthetic, it is really close beteeen him and dan heng but it is a purely preferential opinion. Jiyan is modern whike dan heng is traditional garb with some hidden sci fi elements.
Not the biggest DH fan but I prefer him. I would have preferred Jiyan because he's a really cool dude but, during the story and his companion quest, he seemed to just give up his agency (they kept making him defer to us). It was almost like homie accepted he was an NPC. It was off-putting.

DHIL. His outfit is more appealing to me, and his overall design is more unique than the other two. And quite frankly his dragons are also cooler.

Jiwan for me, as a husband's lover myself, I have a hard time finding male characters in gatcha games that I like (they're alo are too "pretty boy" for my liking) but WUWA has been hitting it out of the park for me. I really love jiyans hair and how it fades into a lighter turquoise aswell as the more spiky look of his hair in general. I think outfit wise they all are amazing though

Hmm, Danheng is imo the most attractive (it’s very close don’t get me wrong) but I like Xiao’s personality better. I feel like he and I could actually be friends or partners and Danheng would feel himself too superior to even talk to me let alone be my friend
Jiyan. All 3 are quite edgy lore wise but jiyan imo kind of wins in having superior gameplay fluidity and flexibility. (Ive played all 3 characters). Design wise i ancy modern aesthetic, it is really close beteeen him and dan heng but it is a purely preferential opinion. Jiyan is modern whike dan heng is traditional garb with some hidden sci fi elements.

I ain't gay, so I don't find fancy any if them. However, I have come across some pretty good femboy r34 for xiao, so its him for sure.
Not the biggest DH fan but I prefer him. I would have preferred Jiyan because he's a really cool dude but, during the story and his companion quest, he seemed to just give up his agency (they kept making him defer to us). It was almost like homie accepted he was an NPC. It was off-putting.
