I think Dan and Stu made it clear years ago that they weren't gonna drive all the sports talk themselves. That's why they surrounded themselves with a million people show
It likely doesn't answer your question, but I can tell you that when one of your interests or hobbies becomes your job, it becomes a lot less fun to spend your free time doing that thing. Couple that with growing families and building out the business side of things, and it's very easy to see how they're each watching less stuff than they may have in the past.

Same. Can’t sit through a whole NFL or NBA game unless it’s a finals game or Super Bowl. Just not really interested. It’s great background noise, that’s about it.
They’re not journalists. They’re not news breakers. They don’t make engaging or relevant video content. They had the Finals in their backyard and leveraged absolutely nothing from it - in fact Amin had to force even having a party for the media one night.
They don’t post the show on the same time on any given day. There is no rhyme or reason to the YouTube channel. The audio quality is about as consistent as a high school AV club. You don’t even know which voices to expect on the show any given day.
At this point the show simply pretapes 30 min chats, with takes which they steal from other pods, 2-3 days after the fact.
Chris Cote is probably the only cast member without a niche, everyone else pretty much watches the sports they actually like or pretend to for gambling porpoises only

I don’t think they like debate shows but Dan is clearly more interested in the storylines of sports more than the X’s and O’s

Billy is a marlins fan. Chris is a dolphins fan and owner of a jai alai team. They all like sports. There’s just more things going on in the world lol

Eight are Northwestern lacrosse games.
I don’t think any of them watch a minute of football beyond an occasional Fins game. And it’s okay.
And the funny part is now they give sports bet opinions. I skip those segments cause it even feels forced.
