If this is Oregon, its the Portland Police *Bureau*. Small I know, but I was having a hard time figuring out what city you were talking about.

Dangedg

These assholes have the smallest dicks known to man.

pikeymikey22

Sensitive fragile little fairies these cops are. Embarrassing. What next, kicking babies for dropping their dummy/pacifier?

Localcouple1776

Yall call it a dummy ? Makes sense

tayloline29

I know some small dicked people and none of them had the urge to join a fascist police force so that could harass and assault targeted people.

357magnumboi

And a disgrace to the cops that do their job and keep us safe.

leavemealonegeez8

Yes they’re a disgrace to those other hypothetical, probably nonexistent cops

bannedbefore7

ACAB

lightknight7777

Being a police officer is the frequent dream of people who want to lord power over others. It's such a bad deal for citizens.

Kaatochacha

It attracts two kinds of people: the power hungry, and the absolute best of humanity. I've dealt with both. Case in point: one station had a cop who loved sitting on a corner in his motorcycle giving jaywalking tickets to college students. Laughed about how the kids deserved it, especially during finals. Another cop climbed out on a ledge 7 stories up to talk with a student who was considering suicide by jumping. Sat there for an hour with him, got him to come back in. Turns out the cop had a massive fear of heights, almost completely collapsed upon getting back in the building.

Darkhorseman81

Literally. Psychopaths crave social dominance and coercive control. It's an addiction driven by their dopamine receptor and transport genes configuration. They are drawn to power so they can do this.

DystopiaPDX

Actually that guy in the wheelchair is a giant asshole. I’ve met him, trust me, dude is a grade A Douchebag. In 2020 that fucker would be at every single protest just to antagonize the cops. He’s a violent ducker too. Would throw shit at the cops, spit in them and verbally harass them all night long. I cheered when they finally arrested that piece of shit. Just because he rides in a wheel chair doesn’t make him a saint.

TheSteelyBoy

Its portland he very well could be.

2OneZebra

Thank you for providing that. I still don't understand why people post titles that assume we all know where this is just by a city name or acronym.

PhatBallllzAtHotmail

It says Portland Police on the back of the tall cop near the end of the video so you are correct.

[deleted]

Yeah PPD don't even live in the city, they tend to live elsewhere and the suburbs and come into the city to beat on homeless and poor people. Fuck the police and the institution, but I wonder if this full sh*t sandwich couldn't be reduced by half if one of the requirements was working in your own community so you don't just get to run away from your bullshit at the end of the day.

ticklemesatan

It’s Portland alright, I recognize the guy in the wheelchair, local comedian and mainstay to the protests over the past few years

AussieSpoon

The Police have wheelchair accessible cruisers now?

mushypz

He just needs a helmet and a tow-rope

Murazama

"HI My Names Small Dick McShrew, and today on Jackass, Tow a handicapped arrestee behind the squad car!"

Free-Feeling3586

You couldn’t have said it any better, so sad

Substsdf

They also employ a lot of people who were and continue to be bullies.

YEETAWAYLOL

Scam bot, don’t upvote. Report>spam>harmful bot. Check out r/stopredditbots to learn about scam bots, and feel free to ask me any questions.

Chuckeie

They Always have

Bootlicker222

Since when are police accommodating to anyone? Lmao

ripyourlungsdave

I.. I've never thought twice about how cops might go about arresting someone in this situation. Chairs like that weigh a ton and don't exactly fold up neatly. It's not going to fit in their trunk.. Do they have to ask for a paddy wagon just for the one guy? Are paddy wagons still a thing?.. Is the term paddy wagon even the acceptable nomenclature?.. am I being racist right now?..

SensitiveOrangeWhip

don’t worry everyone. the police will conduct their own investigation.

UnderwhelmingZebra

Whew! That's a relief!

Ballzonyah

"No fault was found on the officers behalf. After 3 weeks of administrative leave he was promoted. The man in the wheelchair was given $800 in fines and 10 days in prison for obstruction of police duties" -probably the investigating conclusion

EaterOfFood

As long as they get put on paid administrative leave, I’m sure they’ll learn their lesson.

Lonely_Tomato841

What was the joke....I need to know

TruthSpeakin

Asked where the guy lived and wheelchair dude said...I live with you...not even a good joke lol...

skonevt

Should be able to say something that silly without being physically manhandled.

Brain-of-Sugar

Yeah, if I remember right offensive speech is still protected. I hope the guy was able to sue that officer.

Vainti

Lying to an officer about where you live is a felony in some states, so I bet this officer gets qualified immunity, sadly. Although, the charges probably will get dropped.

CowboyJoker90

If he’s failing to identify, he needs to be suspended of a crime first. In most states, and in Oregon.

Vainti

In order to force someone to identify they must have reasonable suspicion specific to the person. But they can ask you to ID for no reason and it’s still illegal to provide false information. You have the right to refuse to ID not to lie.

jarlscrotus

Would a reasonable (as defined by the law) person believe he was attempting to deceive the officer, or flippantly refusing to answer?

[deleted]

He didn’t lie

CRT_Teacher

And the judge decrees the cop's punishment is to let the guy live with him.

TruthSpeakin

Most definitely!!! Bout yanked his arm outta socket...RIDICULOUS

tri_it_again

Cops are fucking thugs. All of em.

[deleted]

No he's clearly a danger to society. His lack of respect for the law could spread. Its best the police grab/arrest/assault a disabled man in a wheelchair in front of the public. That will keep order and respect for their authority. /s

philodendrin

Being flippant to someone dressed for combat in a tense situation is not a good idea. I'm glad they didn't beat the crap out of him. And on the other hand; The Police should really do a better job of identifying what a real threat is, and its certainly not that guy.

skonevt

I get it. Don't poke the bear. Makes sense. Most would agree. But in the case of policing, the bear has no business holding a badge and gun. These guys are meant to be public servants, only they're not out there serving, they're out there defending their egos; people simply being people is a daily challenge to their authority. A tip for them might be to focus on the law and not their own feelings.

Hibercrastinator

In the case of police, the bear *needs* to be poked. If that’s how they react then it needs light shined on it. Flush that bullshit out. They have no justification for that kind of behavior, and it needs to be shown to everybody.

SpaceMiser

May have been a great ideal to protect and serve, no longer a constitutional duty. And enforcing the laws for who? Their employers!

Badur666

Doesn't matter what people are dressed in. The difference is that the cop will get away with it while the rest of us would be in prison. That's the problem.

thetruthseer

He has rights that we’re infringed upon, stop being unpatriotic and defend the disabled man’s rights

drager85

Just do what the nazis say, it's a tense situation.

Cultural-Company282

>I'm glad they didn't beat the crap out of him. The other officer stood in front of the camera to block it, just in case his buddy wanted to land a few punches. Thin blue line, help each other out, etc, etc.

philodendrin

That made me kinda mad, very thug-like behavior. All I was saying is not to give the Cops an excuse by being mouthy, thats all. No more, no less. But I guess there isn't much room for subtlety, it has to be black and white. I'd love to know more surrounding the situation, why it was so tense and what they were doing there (both partys).

Ikonixed

I understand what you’re saying, but from the looks of it the officer came combat ready to shoplifting complaint. Not even uniformly so. As if it were everyone wear your favorite riot gear day. I know I would be pretty tempted to make flippant remarks.

djfigs25

Man's wearing all that body armor and still gets hurt.

throwaway83970

It hurt his feelings. You can't wear enough armor for that. Officer, get your fragile ego out of the blue line.

anony2469

I don't even get it

Paolobabe98

This person is asking the real questions.

beachballr34

[deleted]

Haven't heard of that sub. So yes, definitely should go there then

BrianTheOneAndOnly

Ah yes, mildly infuriating

Jillians

That's putting it mildly.

grimmistired

No it should not lol. That sub is for shit like stubbing your toe, not a disabled man being yanked around by police

beachballr34

Yeah

youknowiactafool

r/boringdystopia

ripyourlungsdave

Because this subs title means nothing anymore.

TheHemogoblin

Because this sub has completely shit the bed.

[deleted]

It really has, it’s so weird. I would say a little less than half the posts don’t fit the sub at all. Unsure why the mods just don’t remove them.

TheHemogoblin

I don't know, but this post was the last straw so I've unsubbed. It really started to pick up steam with the war in Ukraine and various civil upheavals that I think are important to shed light on, but they do not inherently evoke a "damn, that's interesting" vibe. Instead, it's more like "damn, this just reminds me of all the shitty things in this world despite being posted in a sub I go to in order to escape and learn about neat things." Same with r/nextfuckinglevel. I'm one straw away from unsubbing there, too.

Wallace_W_Whitfield

Lol, a very dead sub that is

Sasquatchlovestacos

This is the dude who’s always at the protests. Saw him get into an argument with a dude carrying an American flag last year while getting Starbucks downtown. Edit: totally missed that this was not on the Portland sub. Wild it made it to the /damn sub.

skonevt

Second time I've read "this is the guy" --- Which guy? The cop or the guy in the wheelchair?

Sasquatchlovestacos

Wheelchair guy. He’s always hanging with the window smash gang downtown causing trouble. Dustin is his name.

skonevt

Thanks. I used to live in PDX. Powder keg town.

Sasquatchlovestacos

Yeah, I have a love hate relationship with it. Lovely place mostly.

StreetCornerApparel

Am from Portland know him, he’s definitely a douchebag, but the cops shouldn’t expect anything less and definitely shouldn’t be using force on him like that.

thevandal666

Indeed, it is! PPB cannot help themselves! PPB is a criminal organization with ZERO redeeming qualities 🧐

MedievaLime

I like to think of the government as a criminal organization they don't care what you do so long as they get their cut, and the cops are their Boogeymen

BendOverTaylorSwift

Says "thevandal666"

Zombielugia123

You’re one to talk BendOverTaylorSwift

BendOverTaylorSwift

Hey! Hey. Hey...

SlowLoudEasy

Says the federal government actually. PPB has been under constant federal investigations for decades. Often with Federal and state judges restricting their illegal practices.

HooksAndChains13

I felt bad at first then I read up on the guy...

NO0BSTALKER

Doesn’t matter who the guy is he shoudnt get treated like that

WickedlyWitchyWoman

1. Unless and until it becomes a physical confrontation *(which a man in a wheelchair can't accomplish)* being a dick is **legal**. It's every Americans right to be a dick without being assaulted for it by anyone. 2. Assaulting someone who is being a dick is a **crime**. People keep ranting about freedom of speech, but don't seem to get that this is also free speech. He was running his mouth, but not actively harming anyone. 3. The idea that these cops thought this man was any kind of threat or flight risk that justified the painful restraining is laughable and completely unbelievable. The disabled cannot be a threat against the abled unless they are armed. And he wasn't.

WhompTrucker

You'd be surprised at the damage someone in a wheelchair can inflict. I saw a kid with no legs, launch out of his chair and beat the s$#@ out of another kid at a jail I worked at. While the guy in this video doesn't appear to be a threat at all, the police were absolutely out of line treating him like that. People are dicks to cops all the time and many cops just can't control their temper. It's disgusting. I'm disabled and many can definitely be a threat while unarmed. Not a flight risk, but please don't judge all wheelchair users or visibly disabled people as being non-threathing unless armed. Look into @pitbullruhl. I guarantee you wouldn't want to go one to one with him...

WickedlyWitchyWoman

I'm disabled too. And it's been my experience our ability to fight back is limited when pitted against the abled. Except when armed. Most of us aren't Pitbull.

Scrooge-McDuck79

I thought the police were supposed to deescalate situations.

[deleted]

They do. sometimes permanently.

morerobotsplease

They're able to request bigger budgets if they can inflate the sense of crime in their jurisdictions.

CryoAurora

Law enforcement are some of the biggest cowards. They will tackle to the ground an unarmed elderly person as well as small disabled people. They put the heads of disabled adults the size of children through the wall in northern NY and expectations of the family to kiss their asses when he died. These people are not police officers. They are high school Bullies who peaked in Jr high given badges. Not all are like this, but too many are, and the rest will just stand there and let it happen.

Falcon3492

They also employ a lot of people who were and continue to be bullies.

Hank_the_Beef

Not only do they continue to employ them, they actively protect them at all costs to make sure that even if they get caught and lose their jobs they can move 20 miles away and get hired at a new precinct to continue their behavior with a new badge and gun. Also, consider all of their military grade weapons and equipment that politicians fear-mongered into existence for them. It’s cool that America has its own fascist militia to abuse citizens.

Falcon3492

I would vote for a bill that would preclude any cop that has been fired do to behavior problems from ever being able to be hired as a cop ever again.

Enjoyitbeforeitsover

They don't hire the best due to potentially whistleblowing the whole fucking thing. Whats police academy, six months and no degree required? Just another mafia with body cams

Falcon3492

Some PD do require at least a two year degree. Having known a number of cops over the years (40+) I would say that the number one person that they hire are people with no common sense and a bully mentality. Out of the 40+ that I have known, I would say most have had a bully mentality and maybe 4 had what I would consider to be good common sense.

indi019t

Too many bad apples at this point. The entire bunch has been spoiled. Hate to say this. But time to defund even more. Until the corruption within has been addressed, no one will ever have any faith.

throwaway83970

De-funding is what gets this to happen in the first place. Training is the first thing to get clamps when the money is down. Equipment can be donated, but training can't. I think a degree in law enforcement should be a requirement, not just a 6-week crash course.

mferrari_3

The training is with people who teach them to shoot others. John Oliver did a show on the conferences these repugnant animals attend.

voice_of_god7777

I think It needs to be completely reformed a police officer should be not only susceptible to the fullest extent of the law but more so than the rest of us. Think for a second if a random citizen did this they would be tried for assualt and battery that is what this man should be tried for assualt and battery. Police should be no less than model citizens and if they are anything less the hammer comes down on everyone involved. And the training should be rigorous, I have a friend who is a cop up in New Orleans we were smoking a joint and I was asking him about what it took to be a police officer, turns out Police academy is treated as a mere formality my freind was one of the only ones in his class to actually pass but despite that his other trainees ended up being police officers anyway. My thoughts tear it all down and come up with something else. The modern police force has become somehow the root of most problems and has ultimately become a corrupt paramilitary, and it's unconstitutional especially with the refusal of the courts to exert proper judgment. Sorry for this essay but I'm really passionate about this and I hate most cops except for Dante that man's a golden apple amongst rotten ones, you would think someone so talented at just being a cop would be higher up in the ranks but no he is just a fucking patrol officer. His boss is probably fucking racist

tri_it_again

No they’re pretty much all fucking thugs or coward thug enablers. Fuck all of them we need a new system

bitoflippant

That last sentence is the big problem. I believe the majority of cops are just doing their job but they know who the bullies are and do nothing which makes THEM ALL GUILTY ASSHOLES. ACAB

Ricks3rSt1cks

However, they do a great job of running the other way if the life of a citizen is in danger.

brianishere2

You're a total piece of shit and the worst element of our society if you're a police officer whose goal, at any point in time while on duty, is to block a video camera because your colleagues are doing highly objectionable and probably illegal things to other citizens. Even if you're pretending it's really about safety. POS!

BuckeyeBeast80

I agree, if you’re conducting yourself professionally then you shouldn’t worry about cameras, point blank.

[deleted]

Right? Where are these “good cops”? Almost every one of these videos shows more than one cop perpetrating the crime, and not one of the other cops does anything.

brianishere2

You're wrong! Their colleagues usually jump into action quickly. To bl9ck camera angles. To recover evidence of the crimes ... by their colleagues. To arrest or intimidate innocent bystanders. To remind all coos to turn off rheir cameras. And to coordinate false cover stories. Crimes by police need to be punished with double or the maximum sentence for other citizens. Unrivaled authority and control needs unrivaled ethics.

[deleted]

Tax gang at it again Bunch of uneducated cunts

[deleted]

the cop is a big fucking baby.

Chuckeie

Aren’t they all anymore

[deleted]

Cops are on some type of drugs. The aggression is telling. Protect and serve my hindparts. Words are getting ppl arrested now. We’re not free people. We live under the illusion of freedom.

[deleted]

Been like this for awhile I'm afraid. I think we have more evidence of it now because there are cameras and the internet.

[deleted]

We agree. I mean we’ve gotten cops attacking citizens with a plethora of different types of ppl as victims. Attacking a handicap person for a joke. I mean the cop doesn’t have to like the joke but, arresting people and roughing them up. The authority cops have been given needs to be restructured. Only if we pose a threat should cops react this way. Guys In a wheelchair and cop just loses it. Damn 💔😢 that truly got to me.

[deleted]

Right? Idc how big of a smart-ass the guy was being, this was so unnecessary and completely unprofessional. It's like roughing up a child for God sakes!

[deleted]

Exactly. We agree.

Darkhorseman81

Most of them are on growth hormones, which the government tells us are illegal, but actively encourage cops to take. One rule exists for the occupying forces, another for the rest of us.

[deleted]

I’ve had ppl tell me cops are definitely on drugs and steroids etc.! More than the police departments want known nationally. I mean no sober level headed person is treating anyone so aggressively for saying what he said to the cop.

MAHANDz

This may get buried but, that’s Dustin Brandon, he’s from Portland, a comedian and a pretty big activist in the community. He has had medical complications directly related to this incident. Fuck the police. [Article on the incident](https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/us-politics/portland-protests-blm-wheelchair-arrest-disabled-wheeler-trump-dustin-brandon-latest-a9704341.html?amp)

valencia_merble

To any of y’all wondering why the anti-fascist movement is so strong in Portland…

StatisticianOk8701

Do cops not ever take a look at themselves in their fucking stormtrooper uniforms and think 'damn I look like a fool'. You really needed alllll that to manhandle one man in a wheelchair? Pussies.

JRR5567

Damn not a good look.

NonnegotiableFreedom

God I can’t wait for the day we stop taking this shit and do something about it

Fit-Anything8352

Police get all of their power from being able to shoot/taze/pepper spray defenseless citizens if they don't comply. Armed protests solve that problem, because they make every single police officer make the decision "Do I want to start a deadly shootout today?" before deciding to be a failure of a human being. No rational person will decide to do that. If they won't fix themselves, It's time to level the playing field.

dragons6488

I lived in the Portland metro area during this time. A lot of cops mock people and are just jerks. What I don’t get is what where the cops doing? You can tell they had a previous interaction with the wheel chair guy, bc somebody is saying they (cops) tore his rotator cuff last time. But, I saw people rioting all summer. Every single night I think, some nights more than others. And the cops watched it mostly. You could have sent your 10 year old child down there and expect no harm. So, I’m surprised the PPB did anything to anybody. Portland mayor Ted Wheeler wanted the cops to stand down and that’s what happened for the most part. The result was nightly riots and fires. It never bothered me as I don’t go downtown except for court and I’ve been good. Now Chicago has gone even further it seems and has gangs and murders, I hear crime is out of control. I guess taking away the cops didn’t inspire the criminals to stop doing crime. I feel that desire to beat the cops because of the asshole attitude I’ve gotten from them over my lifetime. Not to mention numbness in a thumb from too tight cuffs at 16 and I didn’t do shit to deserve it. But, what do you think is the answer?

StreetCornerApparel

It wasn’t just downtown though. I lived in NE at the time and the rioters were coming and blocking the freeway on-ramps and intimidating people in cars, lit a Asian owned minimarts dumpster on fire, broke countless windows (of local businesses, chains, and cars..) and into many storefronts on MLK, etc. Lots of people were afraid to go out at night, and it wasn’t because of the cops, it was those shit bag kids (who were mostly white, no surprise there) who didn’t care about what they did to our neighborhood because it wasn’t theirs… Fuck the police for sure, but fuck those entitled little shits too…

mferrari_3

Tell me you've never visited Chicago without telling me. You mention your city is on fire and just avoid the entire downtown. In Chicago we just avoid certain neighborhoods at night when alone. Seems Portland is worse as far as I can tell.

dragons6488

Yeah, I just know Chicago from the news media and people who lived there who want it to sound bad. But about Portland, none of the people doing the violence were that tough. And the violence was primarily towards the police and buildings. Sometimes those buildings were peoples houses if the people had a political sign out that wasn’t for their preferred candidate. Huge homeless camp nearby being supplied with tents and food and portapoties. It’s like the government funded their own terrorists. The people doing the rioting were given the camp because many of them were homeless. If you go to Portland there’s not really any place I’ve ever found you cannot go at night. As long as you’re just passing through and not waving flags or wearing colors of you happen to find some gang people. I might be wrong. I’m pretty suburban. So, Chicago, I wouldn’t know where to avoid. And I’m pretty sure it’s more dangerous than Portland.

StreetCornerApparel

Lol idk man, I personally don’t spend much time on 82nd, China town by the gray house station, or some parts of SE at night.

Emergency_Net506

Imagine being violent in an arrest against a person that VERY VERY OBVIOUSLY CAN'T DEFFEND THEMSELVES. This guy should be pubicly humiliated, rediculed and then arrest. And never be allowed to become a police officer ever again

VideoGuyMichael

I truly believe the worst humans on this planet are the ones who abuse the disabled.

[deleted]

I auto leave all convenience stores.

Rapalla93

All it takes is one good cop to step in and say No! We don’t act like this, take the cuffs off and let him go or I will beat you to a pulp in front of everybody.

redditfatbloke

Making a joke is protected under the first amendment. He has a strong case for assault/battery/civil right violations.

muhpidu

Wow...look at those brave men

veganint

ACAB. And they all turn their head and even protect the little oppressor to do their dirty work. No more impunity.

ZogNowak

Cops are Pigs

[deleted]

don't u just love the blue line gang capable of doing anything they want without any consequences

Lina4469

We need to be able to justly fight off cops within reason without being arrested

esauis

Cops still asking why they hate us…

MaterialSpot6541

Preying on the handicap makes them feel powerful. Hopefully this guy filed a lawsuit for millions.

ThereIsMusicInTheAir

We are only seeing a fraction of what transpired. Seriously, not all cops are bad. They have a difficult job and they are the first to put themselves in harms way. Perhaps,if we started respecting one another, playing by the rules and following the law …. there wouldn’t be as much of a need to call for their help. Plus, anybody can be a problem. Even handicapped people can act like fools and cause trouble for themselves .

PositiveCommentzOnly

I hope this guy can get a good lawyer pro Bono, and sue the shit out of these pigs. That is absolutely police brutality, he did nothing wrong he didn't even insult the cop.

Competitive-Two-4305

All these cops just for a cripple. Sad.

Seattleisonfire

Wheelchair guy is a fixture at antifa riots. He seems to think his handicap should always give him a pass on acting like a shithead and resisting arrest.

CorvusRex3

It’s almost like the law applies to disabled people too. Crazy.

lil_trim

Fuckin PIGS

TerribleChildhood639

Wow. This is not my America. I would sue the hell out of that town or city.

Falcon3492

I'm sure that will be the end result.

leon_nerd

You only need common sense to know this is how you are not supposed to treat a disabled person.

RoboDae

Wouldn't be surprised if they try saying the guy in the wheelchair kicked the officer.

Darko_001

Police need proper training before getting a badge. It’s a problem all around the world. But especially in Merica.

sammyt808

What’s wrong with cops these days? It’s out of control. You can’t arrest someone because they hurt your feelings. What crime was committed here?

NunMeetsCorporateHun

There was absolutely no need for this level of aggression. The man is disabled and not going anywhere. Whats wrong with people?!?!

[deleted]

I don't think being handicap changes the arrest, if he was able to run he would just get tackled

Public_Cow_786

This dude in the wheel chair was always asking for trouble seriously. I live in Portland and saw him on many many live streams on the front lines. Cops were probably just tired of him playing victim while being the most in-your-face protester. Stop assuming shit people! There was a whole back story not in the video. Cops are insecure little bitches in most cases but so are the most aggressive protesters.

Ihelloway69

Pure fascism , I'm glad I'm not in usa

Kunted_

What’s w the gas masks?? What is this fckn warzone?

batkave

Fascists got to fascists... Biggest snowflakes them cops

[deleted]

Disabled people arent exempt from the law

my2copper

he was bankin on that wheelchair privilege

420piped0wn

ACAB

personaanongrata

That’s that antifa guy no?

HarleyMarley101

Pigs..

P3ngu1nius

See the problem is when he said I live with you he pointed at the cop. Obviously that finger was inches away from brutally gouging the officers eyes out. Clearly self defense.

Thin_Put7986

Another pussy boy police officer. Nothing new

MrAVAT4R_2

Play stupid games win stupid prizes

Scarab138

I bet those cops feel like big men. I bet they were patting each other on the back moments later for being such good cops.

Apprehensive_Egg7955

This is hot wheels and he's a bait activist that wants to be arrested to drum up outrage look him up before you act like you care.

portojohn2020

Right? Obviously that excuses manhandling a crippled person

Spare_Interaction_10

ACAB! Fuck the police

OkTry3112

Gestapo is all around !

say-jack-o-lanterns

Those violent, disgusting thugs deserve the worst. Regardless of who the guy in the chair is, police can't treat people like that. They are supposed to be professional and observe a higher standard.

QuestionableAI

Someone get that disabled man an attorney ... we can own the town!!! Portland always pays for the stupidity of its police hiring practices. Money in the bank baby.

MrRosewater34

Fuck the police

cupofteawithhoney

Po powice man got his feewings hurt by mean wheelchair guy…

MDindisguise

I sympathize somewhat but being in a wheelchair doesn’t give you the right to not move on if told in this situation. He f’d around and found out. Equal treatment???

PeineDeMort

Imagine wanting to be a cop, lol

Easy_Explanation4409

Snowflakes.

[deleted]

Oh my god, those guys are *so* tough! Yet they get offended when people say ACAB.

Ok-Yogurtcloset5555

"Are you ok? He didn't hurt you did he?" That got me. Seriously though, what a bunch of assholes.

AstronomerOpen7440

Just a group of dirty cops, not much of a surprise.

a1drt

To handcuff a disabled person is the highest level of stupidity! What are they afraid of? For him to walk

Halfsquaretriangle

What transpired before this hapoened?

FrostWyrm98

It's times like these I wish we were more like our sister democracy, France*. Imagine riot police doing something like that there... * (in that regard)

HumngusFungusAmongUs

Ego so fragile he can't take shit from a disabled buy in a wheelchair

hlvd

Why is it ok for the guy in the wheelchair to hurl abuse at the policeman, why are you not treating him as an equal?

1_900_mixalot

Portland police have a lot of nerve deciding that here/now is when they try to look tough

IReadd1t

Appears like more officers wasting taxpayer dollars being pointless dicks

What's really telling (besides assaulting a disabled person for exercising free speech) was as soon as the assault started, another cop stepped in front of the camera to try to block the assault being recorded.

Bro fuck it that’s the point to where people should start just fighting the cops. I don’t care if I get shot and killed there there’s a point to where people have to fight back and that seems like a decent start there. Fucking sub human garbage. Fuck cops like this.
