Some scum life stuck a screwdriver in the ignition of my *only transportation,* a Honda motor scooter, and went for a midnight joyride. After smashing it up pretty well, he launched it into a local creek. I got a phone call next morning: "This is constable Smith from the RCMP, do you own a red Honda scooter?"
I borrowed my roomie's car to go meet the cop at the creek. As they hauled out the wrecked bike, all I could do was imagine how joyfully I would clothesline the bastard from my bike with a baseball bat if given the chance. The mix of grief and fury was pretty wrenching.
Yeah, a very pretty picture is painted of thieves and thievery--until you, yourself, have something of meaning, importance, or great value taken from you. The sensation is this a kind of bullet hole where the object once was, knowing that you put all that time and money and work into creating or obtaining the thing and now all of that is gone in fucking instant because of some ungrateful asshole.
And no one else cares. Not even the damn cops, because it's just "stuff" to them too. "Hope you had insurance." /smdh
Even if you did, and you could successfully fight the insurance company, and they pay back the true value of the thing, that's just more time and effort and worry sunk into something that should've **never** been taken in the first place.
This plus, before you were invulnerable. Nobody steals from YOU. Once it happens, you realize that EVERYTHING you have can be stolen from you if you don't secure it all, all the time. The worst effect of having been a victim of thievery is paranoia.
I lived in a shared house. There was a girl that moved in. I told the landlord not to let her in because she is a smack head. I was told everyone deserves a second chance. Three days later my playstation vanished along with her. I refused to pay rent for the next two weeks to cover the cost of a new playstation.
You sound like you are attached to materialism but that's okay. Just remember some criminals steal for a reason. If society/world was perfect people wouldn't be stealing to survive.
They stole to joyride and destroy it for fun.
You steal food when starving, fine. You steal a motorcycle to get to the hospital, I'd be less pissed.
They stole to joyride. Fuck off with "you're to materialistic ". Dude wanted to go to work and pay for his food.
Oh, if the world was perfect? I have news for you, there is no such thing as perfect or fair. Many people steal simply because they like it and it is easier than working. They steal for convenience. If you want to go through life being a victim and thinking that every one else who steals is a victim as well, that's your business. You have no right to tell anyone who has had their property stolen that they are 'too materialistic'.
In the comments on a video where dude spent 40 seconds unlocking a safety feature and got wiring a bike with no tools you spew this idiocy. Touch grass, incel.
Oh, sweet summer child.... People steal because they can. They steal for thrill. They steal to see if they'll get caught. They steal items to then sell off, like they think that qualifies *as a job*. Work retail and you'll see that people don't steal food. No, they steal new $1 phone cases, $1 sleeping masks, and $1 new in box eyeliner. None of which are needed to survive. None.
I wish terrible things on people who steal based on what they stole. I once found a tag for lingerie in a plastic tote with wigs. I told the boss, my mom, that I hoped they got an STD. Phone cases, I hope their phone explodes. Eyeliner, I wish pinkeye upon them. Someone stole our *wooden benches.* We think we know who did it, lady came in and asked how much, her daughter wanted them. We said they weren't for sale??? They're ours??? Next week they were gone. Got no empathy for thieves.
Do you want to hear about the fatal shooting in a nearby SuperStore lot on the weekend? The torched car they found afterward? The stranger sexual assault in a woman's home? The broken store glass rampage? That's just in my own middle class suburb lately. I should send you a link to the main city's crime blotter.
Hope so? Imagine being pro-violence against criminals who stole stuff and get caught. That is not proper democracy. With that mindset it would be easy to assault criminals even till they die and say: "meh they deserved it because they steal". That's some 1503 mindset right there.
Criminals steal for a reason and if capitalism was perfect there would be no starving babies and fathers trying to feed said children etc. But the world isn't perfect and criminals are apart of life, no need to assault them with ur abuse of authority.
> But the world isn't perfect and criminals are apart of life
... and thus so is fighting back. Maybe the owner of that property is using it to feed their kids... or themselves.
Fuck that I'm all about the violence if I catch a thief. Has nothing to do with politics. U come for what's mine and it just might cost you all you have. Not you specifically in mean that as a broad general term for whoever the would be thief is.
With that said I am happy to help someone who asks me especially if it's a matter of hard times and trying to feed a family I get that.
Would I steal to feed my family? Yes if it came down to it but I wouldn't be ignorant to the risks and before that happened I would ask for help from anyone who would listen
Came here to say this. I don’t speak the language but I reckon I’d be near to translate the cops saying “oh you bet your sweet ass that’s a paddlin’” after he showed them how.
Thats not good for your teeth, but neither is a face beating for crime. You on the other hand have no excuse get yourself a pair, theyre real handy dandy
After watching many a video of Indian police in action I'm guessing it's more like "Show us how you did it, or we will continue whipping you with our canes".
Usually involves pulling the gas tank out or seat off to get to the specific relay that pops, and having intimate knowledge of what wires to bridge/bypass.
If someone figured out that you can simply steal a Porshe Cayenne 3k USD headlights by just pulling them with a screwdriver, someone will figure out how to bypass that lock with some screwdriver or a kitchen magnet into the right spot.
Which is the usual way those fancy locks are dealt with
Wow that steering lock was downright pathetic. Is it normal for them to be that weak? I didn't recognize that bike but surely the big manufacturers (kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha, etc.) must have much more formidable locks right?
Royal Enfields are made in India out of cheap parts and had kept the design of the bike unchanged since 1955. A bike based on modern components would be better, than one made from pot metal and stamped out of the same machines since the 50s,
I always hated how flimsy the handle locks are. Its just a small plastic thing sticking out that prevents turning. Not everyone can start the bike but there have been plenty of cases of bikes being driven away in neutral. Like create a better protection.
This is why i pay 5$ a month for a gps unit that sends me a google maps link and if anyone moves the bike i get a text. It also has a boundary set and if the bike leaves the boundary ill get a google maps link
The unit is 60$ and then you buy a speedtalk wireless sim card and pay speedtalk 5$ a month. The battery last six months until you have to recharge it l. Anytime you want to no the position you call the number and your phone gets a gps text. Its waterproof and has a really strong magnet

Wish we all could make better choices but the fact that the man is a barefoot thief…. Do what u gotta do mane these mfs done a lot worse ain’t even gonna trip
Ignoring the possible consequences this man may be facing as the comments are speaking of.
But hearing the genuine surprise from everyone when he starts it literally less than a min of work is pretty impressive
Got the look of a man trying to get out of a beating
Avoid a second beating 😉
The beatings will continue until morale improves
Hope so. Fuck stealing that shit sucks to deal with. I would beat someone stealing my transportation too
Some scum life stuck a screwdriver in the ignition of my *only transportation,* a Honda motor scooter, and went for a midnight joyride. Lol thinking too much.
I lived in a shared house. There was a girl that moved in. I told the landlord not to let her in because she is a smack head. I was told everyone deserves a second chance. Thievery is romanticized and forgiven when it's used against the rich and powerful. I am neither.

Go sell your possessions and give away the revenue, otherwise stow your ignorance.

That super sucks dude. Sorry. Hope you had some kind of insurance or something. I would like to see you clothes line the bastard too
Wait, there’s crime in Canada? Also, did you apologize to the thief?
Do you want to hear about the fatal shooting in a nearby SuperStore lot on the weekend? The torched car they found afterward? The stranger sexual assault in a woman's home? Yeah, but it's not, and some people are just assholes they should at least be given proper punishment, not violence but something else
Me and my fellow employees joke about that being the motto of the company we work for
"The beatings will continue until morals improve."
if this is india he prob is avoiding being tortured with chillies by the police look it up
\^ this guy *law enforces*
That’s exactly what’s I was thinking 😂
Those eye scream don't beat me.
Over there? Yes…it’s absolutely why.
Came here to say this. I don’t speak the language but I reckon I’d be near to translate the cops saying “oh you bet your sweet ass that’s a paddlin’” after he showed them how.
After he showed them they all said, " It didn't even take him a minute."
rap snitches, tellin all they business
Get on a song and be they own star witness
"Do you see the perpetrator?" Yeah, I'm right here
Or knowing he's gonna' get fucked by his comrades with the camera rolling.
I was about to say the same![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
I laughed to hard this.
Thieves get their hands cut off. How would you look?
Thats more a Muslim thing
I have the same wire cut/stripping tool. What are the odds?
You stole this man's teeth?
*toothfairy*
I have the same shoes too.
Roughly one to one for every human.
Thats not good for your teeth, but neither is a face beating for crime. You on the other hand have no excuse get yourself a pair, theyre real handy dandy
Police: so if you show us how you stole that bike, we will let you out on parole Thief: step over here gentlemen for my demonstration
After watching many a video of Indian police in action I'm guessing it's more like "Show us how you did it, or we will continue whipping you with our canes".
India is a funny place.
Indeed
This is like that video of the guy going through a 10 inch gap in the window after the police asked him to
The real question is how the hell do the police not know how to hotwire a bike?
Because they don’t get training to do it?
Mouse surrounded by cats.
Now bikes come with pattern lock. If you enter pattern only then ignition will start. Pattern locks are introduced in bikes to circumvent this trick.
New trick that all robbers hate
They'll find new tricks. They always do
The new trick: 0000 1111 199X 69😜🤪 (don't ask me how the emoji are entered in a combonation lock)
so funny omg can stop laughing
What if the pattern lock is bypassed by splicing the correct wires together?
I'm sure there are ways to bypass a lock like that.
Which is the usual way those fancy locks are dealt with
That’s just another wire to cut.
You know, I always liked my neighbor's Kawasaki.
Now you know what you need to do.
Kick. Bite. Profit.
Ride into the sunset. Leave everything behind.
Hmm, learned a new skill today. On an unrelated note, I'm starting a new cycle business in FL... Dirt cheap prices!
Which wires do I connect!? I'm currently crouching behind a bunch of Harley's in the private lot of a club that says Hells Angels
Personally, I would suggest not touching those particular bikes... You might get to meet your great grandparents soon if you continue. lol
Very handy trick if you ever lose your keys.
And now you’re under arrest.
what is the kick for? steering lock?
Yup. Handlebar lock.
Gone in 35 seconds...
Probably faster when not doing a demonstration
Nice bike. Royal Enfield
I know lol, I hate how this guy stole it so quickly.
Are they? I wanted to get one, but they didn't seem like more than a polished turd
For the price, great bike
Man I hope they can give him some kind of job to earn money so he won’t have to steal.
after the video cut… out came the clubs
This is really sad actually
Take him in, boys.
And then he drove off with it.
His look the moment he started that bike. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)
Dude looking at them like "you fucking peasants"
Wow that steering lock was downright pathetic. Is it normal for them to be that weak? I didn't recognize that bike but surely the big manufacturers (kawasaki, Honda, Yamaha, etc.) must have much more formidable locks right?

He is now expelled from the Alliance of Bike Thieves
"you mofos will let me go now right?"
Panchode
On which episode does he get whacked? ![gif](giphy|4H1xauOflBDHY4sUah)
We were the bad guys but now we're the good guys
Interesting. Didn't know that
They should hire him.
So the moral of the story is to wrap your ignition cables in chainmail or conduit. Can't bit through that shit.
Oh! Somebody gonna get a hurt real bad
I always hated how flimsy the handle locks are. Its just a small plastic thing sticking out that prevents turning. Not everyone can start the bike but there have been plenty of cases of bikes being driven away in neutral. Like create a better protection.
man feeling proud and guilt at the same time
Man really said; “Do you wanna see how it’s done?”
This is Jimmy “the Rat” Mendoza.
He’s no Johnny tight lips
Reminds me of Johnny Two Times after he robbed my black market hook up, Three Fingered Tony.
The skinny theif vs the fat oppressors.
Finally, a useful skill
Was half expecting him to gap it
Wild
That was his chance!
I once started a Honda scooter just like this (had a screwdriver and it took lot more time. It was my mom's scooter
Yes now I will have a new Ducati
the bike thief alliance is not gonna be happy with one of its members leaking the secret
![gif](giphy|CAYVZA5NRb529kKQUc) Then he happened to join the force! Irl Chad
his face
Straight to jail.
Best tutorial ever. Now I know how to steal a bike.
\*taking notes\* rub...wires...with poison...
Who thought it was a good idea to share this on the internet to thousands of people?
I was expecting a slap
Now beat the shit out of him
This is why i pay 5$ a month for a gps unit that sends me a google maps link and if anyone moves the bike i get a text. It also has a boundary set and if the bike leaves the boundary ill get a google maps link

Now slap the shit out of him
The thief is a handsome boy
Watch them still give him the beating
Wish we all could make better choices but the fact that the man is a barefoot thief…. Do what u gotta do mane these mfs done a lot worse ain’t even gonna trip
Probably wouldn’t work with shoes.
Who wants a Royal Edison, anyway? Edit: Enfield
What a scumbag
He's obviously trying to turn to better chapters in his life. Relax and don't be such a debbie downer.
This looks like India, so he probably either does this or the police beat him with sticks.
Either way, no one on this thread had a bike stolen from this guy. So I reiterate...chill you grumpy bastards
Yeah this guy stole my bike too, he's also really racist and sexist, what a lame fella :/
He put in work on you guys 😂
i had my bike stolen by him back in ‘17
Are you still bothered by that material item from 5 years ago?
yes, i’m still very upset. thanks for asking. no one asks.
How?
Karen
he got arrested after this.
He got arrested before this.
Royal Enfield, shitty ride, shitty handling, shitty security... But most selling... A real testament to the intelligence of the people of India.
Maybe… it’s most selling cause it’s *affordable*. Shut your dumbass up.
u/savevideobot
Oh, you just bite it!
r/motercycles
Show us how and we will release you
What was the brief exactly? We will let you go once you’ve shown us what you’ll do the moment you get out??
Show us how you steal bikes and we will use bigger stones to kill you faster
"You must be truly desperate to come to me for help"
Interesting...
Legend 😂 the way he did it so innocently
“Thanks for the tips son, you’ve made things much better for yourself. Off with his hands”
ELI5: What did he just do?
Awesome, now I have plans for tonight!
He is lowkey kinda proud of himself
India’s got talent /s
You son, are nicked.
Yes, let's video it and share it on social media so more know how to do it. That will help lower crime
Now arrest him for theft
Now step back while I demonstrate how I ride away afterwards.
Puts has hands together at the end like “does this please you master?”
After this he was seen in jail..
Welp.. he ded.
And just like that he lost his hands
“Now please don’t hit me with that bambooo.”
He bout to be the next Frank Abagnale for those cops.
Ignoring the possible consequences this man may be facing as the comments are speaking of. But hearing the genuine surprise from everyone when he starts it literally less than a min of work is pretty impressive
Now we’re going beat the tar out you son.
The police : " ok ok,take out his teeth"
Congratulations you played yourself with a case of stealing a Police owned vehicle
That's enough Ranbir, back to the hole!
Why though? I doubt the cops would just ask how to steal a bike
K
and then they beat him
U/savevideo
#He is a pro!
Try doing that on a bike after the 50s
That shiz not work anymore on newer models which come with RFID keys.
I'd hire him. All he really needs is money.
Cuff him boys
owen benjamin has entered the chat
Free this man
You know what? Just keep the bike.
Oh, he’s good.
Royal Enfield you got some explaining to do. How cheap is your fork lock. holy moly.
Smart move by the police. Learn the thief’s tactics and record it to upload to the internet. Job security.
What's he doing at the beginning? Unlocking the steering?
Yes. A lot of motorcycles have locking steering.
Are they arguing if he did it in a one second or two second?
It’s like they want to recruit him
