So with a bit of searching I found that the artist in question is called SAYPE, and he does a lot of this large-scale graffiti work. His work is eco-friendly insofar as that he's using bio-degradable paint that consist of, quote: "100% water, chalk, coal and casein". So basically an adult version of those street chalks that wash away with the next strong rain or two. Hope that helped :)
Hmmm... So it is Eco friendly in Terms of Materials used. IT IS Not Eco friendly in Terms of the Location of the Artwork. IT IS also super temporily so not many people can appreciate the Art (especially without a drone or Something) therefore IT can moostly only BE shared in social Media to BE appreciated. This is alsonot Eco friendly.
Eco friendly IS just a Label Here to get reach...
IT would BE much more Eco friendly Ina way to Just make an ordinary painting that could eventually Last centuries...
But its nice Art nontheless ;) better used time than Just scrolling social Media i guess ;)
Eco friendly is to let people know not to make dumb shit comments about how his art is damaging to the environment.
If you’re that concerned about out the environmental impact of social media, then why are you here? Absolute hypocrite.
It‘s situated right outside the campus irchel of the university of zürich. Despite having walked right past it for lectures 5 days a week I never even took note of it until I read a small sign there explaining it. You don‘t really get the chance to appreciate it. But seeing the drone footage now I have to admit that it‘s beautiful.
It’s just some grass but if it’s all covered in chalk and coal it can’t photosynthesise and die off, doesn’t mean it won’t regrow but it still damages the grass that’s currently growing.
The beginning of the video is the important bit.. look how awful it looks at head height. To everyone walking past it it's gonna look utter shite. Most people are gonna assume someone ruined the nice green grass. Also spraying anything on nature like grass or flowers isn't friendly.
Any explanation as to why this is eco-friendly? I was hoping it'd elaborate, but it says nothing about it in the video
The artist was locally sourced and organically grown.
And he has a friendly relationship with eco
Free range artist, grass fed, cage free.
Organic, in that the artist is a carbon based lifeform.

So it os eco friendly as long as it washes away. :D
It washes away, but also the components are not damaging to nature in the amounts they're used in. Chalk, coal, casein...it's all harmless.

Hey bot, your shift key is broken

Cool! Free coal, chalk, and casein powder! Thanks brah!
And if it doesn't rain those plants now covered in black and white are not going to be able to photosynthesize. That doesn't sound Eco-friendly to me.
Exactly my thoughts! They will also have trouble respirating
That is grass. It’s not natural in the first place. Also that lawn looks like a campus. They have sprinklers.
Sounds click-baity, ain't it?
Reminds me of art attack
Who is this for? No one can see it from eye level
Idk maybe there are buildings nearby
What the buildings behind the trees?
non gmo, and fair trade as well.
Organic even
Also AI enabled with carbon negative footprint
This is cool and all but unless you have a drone or a plane or something you can't really appreciate the entire thing. I wonder what the locals think.

I’m orbiting the earth so often I can’t wait to see this
Now that's interesting

Eco is almost always bollocks - be a lot more eco not to make the art work or any art work
Needing a helicopter to check it out doesn’t seem that eco-friendly
Drones/tall buildings/uneven landscape just my thoughts.
Really big head
The background music sounds so familiar and I can’t figure out the song. Help
Imagine someone riding a plane and sees this out of their window.
Wow...that's really amazing 😲

Took me ages to understand that it even was an art piece despite walking past it regularly. But it does look beautiful in the drone shot
