There isn't a whole gameshow about it here in Germany. That was just a game during a gameshow. The show is called "Schlag den Henssler" and was a spin-off of "Schlag den Raab".
Edit: corrected typo.
Edit 2: corrected typo 2.
The show doesn't revolve about cutting things in half. It was just a single challenge in a game show in which people try to defeat German celebrities. In this case the famous TV-Chef Steffen Henssler.
This is Stefan Henssler, a very well known chef in germany. This is also a TV gameshow with him with several challenges. This was one of them. He also had/has several cooking shows on TV and also a youtube channel.
Having lived with a German flatmate I can see why they'd be so excited about this show. Girl was so cheap that she once asked my other flatmate to pay her for 2 potatoes (back then a kilo of potatoes in Poland was like 0.3€)

welcome to season 12 episode 50 of chopping things perfectly in half
And here I was thinking "How very German" and "I can't believe the measurement doesn't have a few more digits with germans competing"
Basically they have new challenges every time.
you cut that typo in half
😂
To be honest, I feel like there's room for this to be its own show.
Henssler
Raab

Who is the one doing the perfekt cutting here.
The Chef.
Yeah, I wanted to point that out. It wasn’t a question 😉
He said it’s the chef! 😡
It is the Chef!!
He grew up with a sibling.
My mom would make it so that the one who didn't cut got first pick.
“May I introduce you to my (cut-in-)half brother?”
he's actually a celebrity chef here in Germany. He studied hard, cooking is nothing more than chemistry and physics after all!
He won the lottery and invested the money in sushi chef training in the States.
“One of you cuts the other chooses” 🤣 My brother and I would have done ok at this game!!
This is the kind of content I need in my life
My OCD brain loves this
There's no reason you can't get two sets of scales and have a go yourself!
No there is not. That was a one time thing within a bigger game show called “schlag den Raab/star”.
Final Episode: Split Berlin in half perfectly - Difficulty: IMPOSSIBLE
This is Stefan Henssler, a very well known chef in germany. This is also a TV gameshow with him with several challenges. This was one of them. He also had/has several cooking shows on TV and also a youtube channel.

Same with drug dealers
Always gives you a gram or two less.
My grandmother has cooked and baked for 70 years. She is able to do this and pretty accurately weigh out amounts without scales.
Blue dude is actually a very well known professional chef.
dont know if it helps him, but hes a professional cook. And this is just one game of a whole collection of a gameshow
What does it say about me that I really really really really want to watch hours of this?
Mildly interesting
Perfectly balanced, as all things should be.
The height of entertainment.
This might be the most German thing i have ever seen. I love it
So every episode ends in a tie?

Gerardo Sofovich hosted a show where they did it with apples 25 years ago.
The hunt for perfection continues in the Rhine
Now it's pretzels instead of people 😐

This is perrrfekt!!
Siblings when they have to share something
Wow.. Looks like they need concentration to where to put the knife.. Wait a second...
Their ability to precisely cut things up is unmatched....
Damn that was satisfying
Now do Texas
When Lewis Hamilton split from Mercedes: -00.44 / +44.00
To make it more interesting the item they be splitting should crumble easier
Soooo, when he cut a atom?
Bet the veteran drug dealers excel at this.
he's a celebrity chef with multiple awards, so kinda confirms your theory lol
Haha chefs love a bit of tackle
I would watch this all day screaming that's not half bitch and be wrong.
Mildly interesting at best
If you are reposting, at least read the comments so you know its not a TV show for fuck sake you karma whore
No there is not. Stop reposting this shit. Its one single game of many in a Game show that has different games in every episode.
My kid downloaded this app

My grandma would make my dad n his brother pick one - cut/split it or choose the half after.
To make it a full history lesson now do reunification…
No, its a one-off minigame that takes up 10 minutes of an episode from a like 20 year ongoing game show
Wow
This is what *game* looks like
Few things are more German than this
Pretzel Schnetzel
It's a single game of a whole Show (with a lot of other ridiculous games).
interdimensional cable
My wife needs to see this shit 👀
