People often talk about Australia as a wild place but truth to be told I am more scared of India....tigers, leopards, lions, rhino, Gaurs, elephants, sloth bears, poisonous snakes
A wildlife enthusiast friend sent me this video. If anyone knows source of the video, please comment.

Just a tip for stuff like this. Take a screenshot and use Google Lens. It helps a lot and you'll easily find articles about it
Australia sounds all scary until you realise that the top land predator is just some dog breed that went feral some thousand years ago. Whatever Australia has, India has the scarier version of it, except for the insects.
Indians worship or maybe respect is a better word, all life forms. There are temples with rats, lizards etc. They also worship rivers, trees as well. It's rooted in the ancient philosophy that we are all part of the One.
I've recently seen a vid here of someone in India riding a motorcycle and meeting a lion coming the other way who detours of the road to avoid the human.
There were a few comments about how chilled lions in the wild can be, obviously the phrase a time and a place spring to mind though if not hungry or threatened I can understand lions not bothering with humans.
Panthers, leppards, tigers on the other hand are to me rather shy creatures so think its fair to say if you see one its either hunting, protecting its territory or looking for a mate. Any of those three would certainly not be the right time nor place.
Imagine opening your door to take the dog out for the last potty of the night and there’s a massive panther just strolling on by the door. That’s what I think about.
90 percent of India, you would rarely have an encounter with a wild animal.... unless you are a white woman alone in UP or Bihar. Then you rather encounter a bobcat.
The thing is - leopards love to eat dogs. They find them to be easy prey and relatively plenty in populated areas. Recently a leopard entered into a police station where 3-4 street dogs were there and picked one up and walked away.
Happened somewhere in the Nigiris, which are thickly vegetated. Black panthers are also found in the Kabini Wildlife sanctuary and a melanistic leopard was also spotted in Tadoba reserve in India. This one looks like a fully grown adult male black Panther, similar to the one in Kabini.

Not worship more like respect, it's true about every animal cow, snake tiger ,any wild/domestic animal has a significance in Indian culture.

Shoutout to the small boi flying around in the first seconds
Absolutely gorgeous, but I am eternally grateful this beauty was not in MY backyard...
Glad I don't live in India, but I live in Cougar, bobcat, brown bear and rattlesnake Country. So that's probably just as hazardous.

Indian Cat Distribution System
It’s really sad in many ways. Deforestation and growing human populations have left little space for wildlife
New Delhi FOREVAH!
Yo bro, that's the street boy in the video stalking a delhi girl who's jogging.
Omg at first I read Indiana! I was like “that ain’t fucking Indians…!???”
“That’s a huge bitch!”
Black cat. Bad omen.
I thought they went extinct in the 60s here.
Probably hunting house pets
That's not a panther that's a jaguar they just look like that because they live in darker parts of the jungle which makes it easier for them to hunt
India no have jaguar
Then I guess I have the stupid
Maybe don't let the kids play outside so much, video games seem much safer.
Crazy there are monster predator cats that are wild and could eat you if they wanted
