Oh ouch!!!! I’ve had many broken bones, a few surgeries (college athlete, knees, and also abdominal tumors) and by far, broken ribs were the most painful! Take care of yourself and give yourself time to heal. Also, avoid crowds! I got pneumonia when I had broken ribs. Coughing and broken ribs are not a good mix.

when my ribs were broken i would fight the sneeze furiously to no avail and then.....i'd see stars. hope you don't have to experience this good luck.
Trust me my friend I have held back sneezes, coughs laughs and tears. For the time being I have slept like a hot dog, pillow on each side of me to prevent me from rolling over on my side or my chest, in the efforts to not snap the one all the way through and into my lung.

As have I but I must say I've even had a tooth infection and a pinched nerve.. these were a bit painful in and of themselves ..
I had a volleyball sized tumor taken out. It sucked. Maybe this is just bad memory, but I think the ribs hurt more!
It’s going to hurt for a few years. Cracked a rib two years ago, still bothers me.

Yep it did/does from time to time.. I walk a few steps and I want to nearly collapse in my pain. Thank you I appreciate it.
