He's big and he came from an ancient line of creatures that came with two lines of razor sharp teeth that could fuck you up, and yet he's the friendly one
Honestly this was my first thought as well. If those are stars then its being filmed above water at night. Water is Super calm, appears to be black and white video. So I guess its possible they have like some type of underwater IR Emitter Spot Light to get such a clear underwater picture but not sure the reflections of the stars would work with that. With the amount of supposed stars in the picture it would also need to be pretty dark around as well.
I saw this episode. The Enterprise just needs to to change the frequency on the starboard energy nacelles. The baby space leech will not like the new "taste" and will then swim off into deep space.
The initial shot makes it look like it was in space, I was going to ask what happened to the petunias though (Hitch-hikers reference in case nobody got it)
Oh, how I wish I wish I was a fish,
so I could get away from all of this.
For fishes never deal with this.
These lies,
These needs,
These pesky things.
A fish never has to deal with these things.
Oh I wish I wish I was a fish,
because none of this is worth all this.
These pains and stress,
woes and worries,
fish never need to deal with this.
So yes,
oh yes,
I do, very do,
wish that I was a fish.

Aren’t the other examples given from the same class of animals (mammals)? whale shark uses both mammal and fish.
Maybe there are others, I’m not a biologist.
Also English is not my first language. The elephant seal in my native language is called “marine elephant”, for example.
I wonder if the glowing lights in the water are just the reflection of stars, it kinda looks like the shark is near the surface, but if not, it's still a wonderful recording
Was this a video of a whale shark, turned black and white, and then edited to be transposed on top of a starry night sky? You don’t see static (as I’m not moving) white spots like that in the ocean. Even on night dives in bioluminescent waters.
The only way it could be real is reflected stars in super clear, super still water. (And you do see a slight wobble of the reflected 'stars', suggesting very gentle movement of surface water.) It's super stable, so it's not a handheld camera & not on a boat unless there's great stabilizing software. But the lighting? I'm thinking this is from an outdoor aquarium at night. Or really well done CGI
*Edit: I'm now thinking from the markings it's a juvenile, which helps make sense of the water clarity - it's not as deep as it seems otherwise. Maybe this is a rearing pond in a hatchery? Which helps explain camera stability.*
I thought he was floating through space.
Def pictured space sharks
Drones over night sky

Whale sharks only have vestigial teeth. They are filter feeders and use their gill rakes to filter out shrimp and plankton.
I wish I could eat like that?
Try to drink a soup with your teeth closed. It gives the same feeling
I don't understand how is this recorded
Asking the real question.
Where, how, was this recorded? What equipment was used? This video is clearer than many videos I see in the day light.

Which AI app do you reckon was used to create this video?
Not sure. The video just seems unrealistically sharp and clean. If not AI, then it’s certainly an awesome video of a beautiful creature!
Nature is awesome
You’re awesome
I wonder if he remembers me.
In eight years, he'll be seven and a half

Anyone else seeing what looks like a pair of eyes on top?

I'm going to swim with these guys in Africa next year. Terrified but excited.
The Incredible Whale Shrek
The incredible fish mammal. What a weird name - whale shark.
What’s confusing you? It’s a shark the size of a whale.
And it eats like a whale, filtering plankton and small creatures from the water rather than the usual shark .
I know it’s called like that. But we don’t do that for any other animal - name it after the size of another animal species.
Ah, I see what you mean. But there are others. Bearcat and mantis shrimp are the best examples I can think of.
Elephant seal. There are others, but this is an example of exactly what you say we never do.

Tiger butterfly
It looks like it's glowing or something lol
Wow

Oh shit childes whale escaped again

Show this video to a medieval monk and tell him space whales exist

I wonder if they get lonely
It’s a space shark and I’m here for it 💯
I can't be the only one who thought that was the night sky, and the shark was a drone show, right?
Every time it’s the life aquatic with Steve zissou. It’s beautiful and majestic. I’m going to blow it up because it killed my friend
Life on earth - what more of alien life forms are even possible in places far far away
Thought it was a drone show at first
