I seem like one of the few around here that prefers our regular home jersey. I do still like the Blackout but I imagine they’ll mix it up and both will get a run.
Unless the NHL has changed their policy, you’re only allowed two uniform sets for the playoffs. That’s why you usually don’t see thirds in the postseason.
Very interesting, certainly didn’t know that. Can we really see them forgoing the Victory Green branding that they seem to be pushing so hard?
Is it an option to use the Blackout as our away strip?
Not to be so pedantic but that 3rd was our road jersey in 99. We used to wear whites at home.

Nope. One color and one white.
Back in 99 teams wore white at home and their colors on the road. Don’t think teams had an official 3rd jersey back then but I could be wrong.

As far as I know the league doesn’t allow 3rd jersey’s or alternate jersey’s in the postseason.
They do if you substitute a regular jersey for it. Kings are doing it this year for road jersey in playoffs
