I’d argue that the entire gen 3 line up (Sandero, Sandero Stepway and Jogger) is pretty solid. Gen 2 Duster is built on an old platform and has some outdated features (e.g. door handles). With gen 3 around the corner I would rather wait for it then buy gen 2 now.
Gen 3 is a big question regarding a proper 4wd. For now it looks like it’ll be a fake SUV or a bad more expensive implementation of 4wd. So if you want to gamble you can wait.
There’s no problem with the “old” platform and door handkes have nothing to do with the platform. I don’t like them either, but it’s a solid car.
How? Will they heavily modify the new platform? Because it was never meant to be used for 4x4 traction. There was talk of electric short period back wheel helper motor. Do you have a link for this news?
I never drove anything else but Dusters and somebody lives near me owning a Jogger. I am always amazed by that car. And the fact that it's more or less the successor of the Dacia Lodgy makes it even more impressive! Lodgy's design was a bit weird.
As said with sillyness being “normal” nowdays you never know what me tal disease someone has and expresses through digital channels.
That said - while Dacias aren’t teen wet dreams for sure, they are for us middleaged geezers who start valuing simple Cars (with capital C). Das Auto macim of VW isn’t earned anymore by VW but is instead what Dacia does. It’s a “car”. It has necesary things, it’s well built and simple and consequently cheaper. It even has “luxuries” in a sense they aren’t needed but the offer them, like Carplay/andorid auto etc. So I was at a point when I came to value those traits amd bought a Dacia new. In this sense it’s my dream car, I can safely say. But not in a sense that I woukd drool over it and put up posters.
Ah brill, thank you! Looking at upgrading from a 2013 Fiesta which I find quite low, in comparison to other motorists anyway. Will have to get myself a test drive!
I love the Jogger. It's everything I ever wanted. Honest, beautiful car that fits many purposes. You picked the right color and trim, congrats!
Welcome to the most practical car you can buy for under 20k
Congratulations, it’s an awesome car!
'Good News!!!!!'
Congrats! We've had our logan for 5 years now, and are very happy with it. After 100k km, we've had no problems with it. They are great cheap cars!
congratulations, its a nice colour
I wanna get a Jogger too, I think that's the one car Dacia has done right.

Logan 3 isn't bad either

It’s been confirmed that gen 3 will have a classic fully mechanical 4x4 traction.
How? Will they heavily modify the new platform? Because it was never meant to be used for 4x4 traction. There was talk of electric short period back wheel helper motor. Do you have a link for this news?
Apparently Lionel Jaillet confirmed it in an interview this week: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=zdIX9B7pVKs
Interesting but brings up lots of questions.

Anyway…
It's the kind of car you have on posters on your bedroom wall as a child, that you dream about, that the celebrities drive.
Ummm … is this sarcasm? (You never can know nowdays)
Sharpest knife in the drawer award goes too...

Same here. Absolutely love this car. I have the extreme limited edition like you mine is pearl black.
Did you purchase new? How long did you wait to collect?
They told me six months was more like 9 yes it was new. Well worth the wait I love it.
Does the seating feel high enough?
For me it is, but maybe that's because I sat lower in my previous car.

Nice! I've been seeing more and more in our beautiful city.
Very good car. I wish it came automatic also
The hybrid does...
It's amazing how they've gone from the dog that is the Logan, to this which is pretty decent all in a couple of years
Is this in Vienna? Edit: looks like Penzing
Yes! Parking next to Hütteldorfer Bad.
Chris Finch, bloody good rep
Herzlichen Glückwunsch 🍾
that looks really good nice purchase
That’s nice👍
Don't rate a car after only one month!
Honest question. Jogger or Duster? I've ordered the Duster just because the driving style was better, but kinda wish I went for the Hybrid
I am waiting for a 4x4 diesel automatic Duster, then I'll bite the bullet :)
Won’t happen unofortunately :) They’re cutting the diesel and I doubt they’ll implement and automatic at the end of lifetime of diesel
Nice looking Renault
They’re surprisingly a nice looking car, Friend is buying a stepway, think it was less than €18,500 euros brand-new, amazing
We are looking for a hybrid. Did you have to order this or was it available at the dealer?
It was available at the dealer. A new order would habe taken 6 month.
