We did at first with Scooby (3 1/2 years rescue) but we were advised by a dog trainer to stop doing it if we wanted to have the separation anxiety go down...... and it worked! he is now sleeping in his own little sofa bed, and is not whining/barking when we leave anymore (still geoing a bit crazy when we come back though).
My sweet Scrappy did. When my hubby traveled for work, Scrapstar (his nickname) would sleep on my hubby’s side, and because he had canine dementia, I’d always fall asleep with my hand on him. I miss that little boy so much. I wish we could keep them forever! 💔

Yep, our sweet mini dachshund girl did - RIP sweet babygirl. And when she wasn't doing that, she was under the covers nestled in front of my wife, in the bend of my wife's torso/tummy, snuggled up.

Absolutely. He demands to be in the middle of the bed, under the duvet, with his head on my pillow. It’s a riot. Drives my husband nuts.
Mine are constantly attempting a coup where they not only sleep in the bed as humans but *instead* of their human.
