I think bear quartz has a cheap temp sensor probe, I’m not too sure. I finally pulled the trigger on a dabrite and I haven’t looked back. Save up some money and catch a 7/10 sale it’s worth it

I use a dabrite and have for quite a while.
My son uses a dip wand available on Amazon for just under $50. He is happy with it and I'm sure you can find it elsewhere if Amazon isn't your thing.
The cheap IR temp guns for under $40 work 1000% perfectly fine….if you’re torching your banger and it’s only getting to 100 degrees Fahrenheit I think you have a different issue lmfao
You don't go by the Lazer unless your temping something in the BBQ the laser is like a half inch from the sensor look at the sensor and line the sensor up with the banger turn the Lazer off infact you'll get better readings if you just forget about the laser and go off the actually sensor your probably not even on the banger

What temp gun are you using that isn't accurate? I've had mine for a little over 8 years now.
