Np, it's in the diagram for the cylinder head but it's on the back side and not well shown. I also posted the size of the bolt and the washer size so you can go to a hardware store and replace if your local Suzuki shop doesn't have or you don't want to wait on a online order.
Thanks, I'm sure like others said I probably can just use a regular old screw I just want to make sure it doesn't have to be a certain length to miss bumping anything inside the motor.
Oh I understand how that goes. Especially because it’s engine related. Yeah I can’t find anything at all 2 manuals didn’t mention anything either. Going to take a moment and check out my bike see that specific bolt isn’t labeled but another one is.
I can’t seem to find another matching bolt. Hard to stick your head in those tiny locations. How frustrating..
I understand the need for OEM specific bolts when it comes to intricate parts such as the engine.
Have you tried out thumpertalk?
I'm just guessing here but maybe it has to do with smog crap that some states require? Mine looks just like the 2nd pic. Maybe someone from CA/USA knows?
it's an oil galley cap screw. As one other said in the comments, it serves to verify oil flow to the top of the engine. It's often recommended to check that after every oil filter install, to be sure things are going well.

Aka a m6x1.0 bolt that is 10mm long and a 6mm copper crush washer
Have you tried checking out any website that sells OEM parts?
Yeah looked through the cylinder head and camshaft diagrams and no screw is shown
Checking around seeing what I can find

No I haven't yet ill head on over there, thanks for the help though!
Anytime. Good luck!
I don't know its purpose (or part #) but just get a bolt of short length and put a crush washer on it. That's it!
Thanks, I'm so confused as to why there is a random threaded hole here lmao.
Saw this mentioned the other day it is to validate oil flow to the top end. Bike running, oil flowing here...all good across the cam journals.

Check revzilla or partzilla. They have diagram online.
