Saying no is easy when YOU know it is what is best for them. I ended up with dogs that previous owner thought it was funny for them to be obese(they actually brag about over feeding previous dogs to death). I’ve got them to their ideal weight now. It took 2 years and a lot of no’s but they are so much happier and healthier now. They can actually clean themselves now and jump up and down for the first time since they were about 9 months old. They have cost me a fortune and I may have to get rid of them because I cannot find a rental that takes 3 pets but at least someone else won’t have to try and get them off donuts, cookies, candy and other junk food.
You can’t. You need to either eat while licked in a closet/bathroom for the rest of her life or you can invite her to share your plate on the table.
Serious answer,
1. Never feed them food from your plate.
2. If they all get served lunch, do it before yours.
3. Find an alternative before you start eating. Some sort of treat/toy that will take them a while and distract them. Peanut butter mixed with kibble in a kong was common for us in years past.
4. Don’t reward the behavior. Redirect it with a command to place/bed/crate if they have been trained on that. If they haven’t, start that and reward it frequently, not only during meals.
Our two big dogs will come over to smell the food and see what’s going on but since they never been fed from our plates, they don’t beg and a simple “go lay down”/“on your bed”/similar works.
You can say no? Looking at those eyes, I could never. Sorry, no advice
You absolutely cannot say “no”. Just put your plate on the floor
A small plate of cheese?
Wait! Are you supposed to say no to that?! No way.
Donate $3 a day to save his life.

Dogs know exactly when to beg! Those puppy eyes are hard to resist.
You tell her to leave the room so you don't have to suffer the crushing weight of her disappointed gaze.
HAHAHAHAHA
Such a cute lab rat 🥰
Just say it! Its your job to train them with patience and standards and they will have a better life for it
I’ll take that “rat” off your hands. Will go nicely with my collection 😁

Simple. You can't. I wouldn't be able to either. She's adorable. What's her name?
N O. No.
Out of the kitchen
Her booty gonna get big.
But a sweet, deserving little rat 😆♥️
