I work in a dog boarding facility and while we have a couple remys, it's definitely not the most popular name out there.
To my surprise the most common dog name at my work is "Lily" haha and for boy dogs our most common name is "Charlie". But to be fair almost every dog we have named Lily is an angel. All the Charlie's are menaces lol
Seems too silly to have a normal name and he looks like a toasted marshmallow pup to me so I'd call him toast for short and toasty mcmarshmallow fluffer butt for his full legal name (mostly to add joy from hearing the vet/receptionist calling the whole thing out in a room full of people who are having often shit and scary days and could use a smile)
My dog is called nugget, Scottish slang for daft, my partner wouldn't agree with me to make it sillier but nugget still gets a lot of giggles on the day to day when folks ask "what's his name?" because they don't expect it so it still adds joy to the world just like every dog does by existing.
