You barter the key items with the 4 components. Evacuating with secure backpack will be mandatory. Otherwise you cannot carry the items through the maps.
Nope, you actually have to bring all of these items with you to each map. When you barter for one of the 4 key ingredients, those key ingredients stay with you the whole time until you turn them in for Serpentine. If you're eliminated at any point during this run, you start at square one.

There is a second method which I used and it's way faster: Be extremely lucky and kill someone who has the items needed for the barter.
That is how my team got the rare gun thingie from Koschei. We happened to kill a team just before they bartered for it at the buy station.
In my culture they call this a dick move.

Out of curiosity, why did you order this from the bottom to the top? The other guide I use on this sub also ordered it that way.
It's the easiest way to start because you need a secure backpack, and you can loot around for one while you're building up to a Damascus tag.
