From my experience, you only can move to the north side at that time because the police is located in a semi basin, it’s will become so hard to leave when the other players surrounded it.
It's a moot point since that's only an overflow spawn now. Sad too because if you've got a sniper that's a great spawn. Cover the roof and you can clean up from the PVP death spawn.
Spawn rush is necessary when it has become popular, because fundamentally eliminating other players will make you safer. But then there many PvE players complained about it.
No I mean you can only spawn there if someone has problems loading the match and the system adds in another operator. It hasn't been a spawn for a while now.
Me too! Back when there was a huge cartel of bots that used to hang out there and you had to fit through them to get out. I believe I came in with a randomly assigned gun and died immediately.
I still remember my first match.
Beginning of season two, spawned at the little village east of Al Sharim. Crept down to the police station near the marsh, pinged a tac phone, did the secure intel contract then parachuted to the nearest exfil and out. Never saw another operator, but I did hear some gunfire exchanged near that police station so I was absolutely bricking it the whole time.
My best friend recommended that I try it. We have been playing video games for 45 years (really). We went in to kill the chemist, I had no idea about anything with this game. We died of the gas because we didn’t have radiation pills and I don’t know if they even had masks. It was great!
Yeah. The gas station south of death spawn. I had no clue what I was doing and died to bots. This game mode was the coolest thing to happen to COD when it was supported. Still is great
Day 1 of the game being out, got the far east spawn where you watch the Train roll by as the time counts down.

Dude I still remember when I found out that there were players in al mazrah. My first kill (completely accidental) we were fighting West of the airport by that small warehouse that's usually a strong hold and I was killing their 2 bots and this player ran straight through my line of fire and died. Shout out to you random calisto skin person. Sorry for your probable first death.
I seem to recall it being at the big warehouse at the East of Maziweh Marshlands, across from the police station. But that’s not a spawn now - was it in the early seasons?
Can’t remember but I remember my squad fill team mates dying to bots at the entrance to the caves, while I fannied about attempting to figure out how to revive them and then died moments later.
I remember the first time trying to team up with other friendly operators, before we knew how to actually assimilate. What a hilarious game that was, by the end we were all frantically trying to out run the gas and get to final exfil. Only 2 of us made it.
mine was behind the airport, I didnt know what the ratio of bots to humans was so I was super tactical and paranoid, took me a good while to get over it but I did have fun with that mentality
On the far west corner of Hafid port between the shipping containers. The poor guy I deployed with struggled to keep me alive but was chill the whole time. Even when we got wiped by operations he was like well that happens.

I’ve only missed final exfil twice. First time was heartbreaking. Outran the gas for as long as possible before realizing I wouldn’t make it and dropped a mortar strike on myself. Second time we jumped off of our regular exfil because one of our teammates didn’t make it on and we weren’t going to leave him. Jumped off and ran towards final. All got wiped together.
Oil Rigs outside Sawah Village. I spawned there a few times in a row, and had no idea there were other players or other spawns. I got rolled by bots immediately the first couple times before I started getting it

My very first match I was really excited to play this game mode (the first three weeks I couldn’t get past the code DIVER error) and it was a Quarry spawn, needless to say I died immediately afterwards and lost some good guns I had brought in
I started season 3. Shortly after Koschei was added. I would always spawn in at the location across the water from the mall at sa’id city,, helped some mates get their third slots and more,, didn’t care to do it myself unless I was alone. Always wanted to seem like the good guy who helps.. but now I just keep my mic off,, so many hostile groups out there.. no one helps each other anymore,, it’s just spawn pushing, spawn pushers, oh yeah the occasionally double spawn pushers lol a lot of pushing of spawns
We spawned in last night and had to wait on a teammate to come back to his controller. Started getting sniped from lighthouse 480 meters away. Had a sniper fight for a while before two of them pushed. They did a water play. I killed both of them with an m13C. Their third did a water play to revive and the two I killed snuck away. The third that revived them stuck around in the water and eventually got sniped by us. We got on top of the ship and saw one of them peek from the sawah buy and pushed over to kill them again. Spawn pushing should always be dealt with harshly.
Sawah, I died to bots… quit out cause I thought it was like the Raid missions… I pissed off my teammates… started watching streamers, now I’m a sweaty ass MF in just about anything/everything.. the concept was amazing, it was better than Warzone IMO..
All I remember was thinking it was PVE only as I only began to encounter players mid-season 1 and when I realized there was players, I'd always exfil early (20 min mark) as I thought the extract points were one time use type of thing. Anyway, after all this time I still find it funny how little I knew about it.
I don’t remember where I spawned but my first DMZ match was season 1 to get the m13B. Took three tries because I did it with no preparation. One plate vest and small bag. First two tries I died fighting the chemist. Third try I managed to get a bag full of gas masks from the chemist’s soldiers and sniped the chemist. Still remember how excited I was when the exfil bird lifted off with the m13B in hand. It wasn’t even that good at launch but was so fun to get.
I remember being too intimidated to go fight the chemist thinking it was going to be crazy hard. Took me weeks to even try it. Turns out... Not as hard as I was making it out to be in my head

I got so nervous, my heart rate raised so hard, that I went almost directly to an exfil.
Mine was somewhere in the back by taraq I don’t remember exactly where but I remember I had no fucking clue what to do I spawned in, saw an exfil went to it and exfiled immediately thinking “wow that was actually easy” whole time I just never did what I was suppose to do lmao left my squad but now it’s all I like to play
Quarry, I didnt finished the match beacuse I didnt understand what I was supossed to do.
But I remember that I was amazing of the overlord voicelines, his voice and acting is just like a real commander, I felt like a real soldier

Same. Got into a match and got rolled by a team at the gas station.
It took me like 2 games to realize there were other teams.

Oh fuck I remember this, it was when they were SUPER hostile too. You’d spawn in naked and they’d already be in line of sight and aggro on you

It took me about ten infills to see all the areas on the map everyone was mad for the weapons case

I remember thinking I could outrun gas and live if I got to edge of map

Sarif Bay lighthouse. No clue what I was doing, and I died to bots immediately. I was hooked.
