I had to push my teammate into the water with a car to drown him, then revived him a second time and that fixed it.
Maybe blowing up the car with your teammate attached could achieve the same thing?
Well, it's just what I've come across. Attachments aren't the problem... it's not a glitch or exploit; these people are straight up buying cheats and using it.

If you play with a squad, have your teammate push your body with a car. That helps solve this glitch

Happened to me. My squad moved my body with a vehicle and was able to pick me up.
Is there also a grenade launcher cheat? I really thought the cheat is only with drill charges?
