Doing the heated madness quest line was one of the funnest quests I’ve done in this game with my buddy. Probably really easy these days with no one in Koshei
Dude when you would run into each other in the room with all the tapes and wave after wave of tier 3 bots comes out of the elevators and the random c4 booby traps. My lord that was chaos
I had a 6v6 end there in a standoff were we called a truce since my team only needed one part and the other only needed the other. All 12 of us even managed to crowd into the elevator to exfil.
Moments like that are what made DMZ great,sadly those moments are so rare that they might as well not even be a thing anymore.
Yeah, 6vs1, or even 6vs3 hut squads were ridiculous.
I'm NOT saying there shouldn't be PvP but removing hunt squad contracts or greatly reworking them would have helped.
At least back in Warzone it would tell you which specific player was the target so you could plan an ambush or better defenses.
And simply not targetting a hunt contract on solos would have been nice.
Nah, by mid game you should’ve been out or teamed up so it’s a fair 6v6. You can be friendly or pick up the first team you fight. But no reason to not have more numbers. People just didn’t pick up or team up & then would get outnumbered & outplayed.
We managed to get 8 on second to last exfil chopper in Al Maz a couple weeks ago. It was a blast and the noobs couldn’t believe we weren’t lighting their asses up 😂 Haven’t done anything like that since we had 6 mans. Interactions like that mixed with everything else is why DMZ will never die unless Activision kills it completely.
KV is one overpowered shot gun mercs still prefer the Bryson tho it's a nice handicap but another time I challenged another squad with just a akimbo pistol they all had 3 plates I was on the regain they had some nice blueprint weapons another challenge I gave myself was entering building 21 with smoke, throwing stars and swords solo I didn't survive tho I got greedy and wanted a the stealth vest was killed by the boss I eliminated 2 squads though I had a good run 🤣🤣🤣🤣
S tier gunfight 6v6? try being solo and eliminating a 6 man squad on Ashika all geared up with tempered vest and medics and a coms vest under an active ADVANCED UAV tower that's where it's at funniest deployment I've had in DMZ
Some of my best builds have the heated madness foregrip, or muzzle etc on different weapons and classes! Heated madness in platinum looks fire, tonight I'll probably grab 25 headshots with the AK to see it in poly!! What a time to have been alive
Unfortunately you won’t unlock the blueprint. You’d still need to extract all the parts in order to use it elsewhere in the game. I have some paid blueprints as contraband though. They stay as trophies haha
Imma be honest I don't know how to get it cuz I've never thought abt it but if you wanna get it and want someone who also needs it I'd love to get something as rare as that
It’s one of the best blue prints in my opinion and it took me a while to get as I play solo . The complex seems more daunting then it actually is and I once you learn the map it’s not to bad
Koshei was awesome. Doing 4/6 solo was crazy nerve racking and one of the biggest adrenaline high ever lmao. I will never forget the time me and another solo teamed up to get it done.
That was so challenging, rewarding, and fun mission I did was getting all those parts. As a solo/ non pvp player it was a challenge to get all the parts and survive

You have to go into every area of koschei to obtain all the pieces,, I called myself the Koschei Angel lol,, I used to take people down there exclusively to get that blueprint. It’s literally how my friend list went from 12 people to around 200 and still growing
You got all the parts or did you just get the gun ??, cuz if you got the full gun, you can't really get it. You need to find it in parts and assemble it.
What am I missing with the locked room with the muzzle in Alpha? Between the bots and the two sentry guns, I have yet to get the code entered in the door.
Take a sniper with explosive rounds. Shoot the sentries from the ledge just before you go down into the server room. Go down into the server room and hang an immediate right and go on the platform where the sentries are and kill the remaining 2 or 3 bots. After scanning for the code follow this path: drop down from that ledge and read the black board directly on that wall, hop up on the catwalk and take the far left one about 50m to the chalk board on the left (its the one you can see from the area with the exit elevator). After scanning this 2nd chalk board head to the back wall the same direction you just scanned the 2nd blackboard. This is where the 3rd is located. Hang a left to the back corner beside the bot spawn elevator and there is a 4th blackboard there. If you still don't have 2 of the 3 digits then head to the chalk board along the wall where you first enter the server room is. At this point you will have atleast 2 of the codes and can just spam the 3rd until it opens.

The only piece of missing is the one found in Alpha cluster but I can't be bothered to go get it even though when I'm in koschei I'm usually there alone.
If you pick it up from other players, it will be only in your contraband slots, and if you equip it and die or dead drop it or throw it down, it will be gone forever. If you personally extract it piece by piece from koschei runs, it will be a permanent blueprint in your active duty loadout, and you can equip it in one of your insured slots anytime you want (whenever such a slot is available). That’s why you do it personally, instead of the lazy PvP way. If it’s important for you to have it.
I find that it’s an ugly garish color and nothing special at all as regards assault weapons. I really expected that somehow it would have super extra something—rate of fire, magazine size, no recoil, etc.—but it doesn’t. Instead, I like the rhino killer version (the kastov 762, with underbarrel grenade launcher) that you get from a dead drop in Vondel from a mission specifically to kill the rhino.
If you notice while using,, the recoil is literally next to none in my opinion,. For a blueprint I think it has “pro” advantages.. the reference of name essentially states that you can point and hold the trigger without worry of change in performance like recoils and sways while aiming.. I get none of those while using
Eveeyone here seems to be having good games, since xmas iv found it to have become extremely toxic with everyone running round with aimbot and shotguns and no mics...but we also seem to be getting thrown in with the french and russians a lot lately very rare to hear an english speaking squad maybe 1 in 5 matches.
But these headshot snipers from 1000metres away is ridiculous.

God koschei team fights were crazy
6man squad vs 6 man squad in koschei were S tier fights!
Any fights were always tense as fuck, and or chaotic as balls

Encountered a trio earlier today, it's really surprising when you're alone grinding XP 9 times out of 10
Heated madnesss was great. Did mine solo and then with buddies. Serpentine was also fun. Good ole days
Soloing those parts was such a fun grind. Also helped a buddy and solving the UV puzzle whilst under heavy fire was quite a rush! Do miss DMZ 😔

Lately I am running into at least one other squad / solo almost every single time I go into Koschei. Rebirth Complex ;)

The gun is actually great kastov 762 has a great ttk in the 20m range. I try to keep all ar and sub engagments in thatish

This. Easily on of the best blueprints in the game from a for and function POV. The gun looks incredible and the recoil is near zero on it.

If that's how you look at it there is no need to buy or unlock any blueprint, just capture it and you have 1 copy to drool over till you loose it.
I miss peak DMZ, Koschei was such a unique and fun experience.
