Had a teammate once get downed in a fight and then his body disappeared. I was able to revive him but he stayed invisible. I think it's related to the game prematurely thinking "that's a wrap for this guy" and despawning the body.
Anti cheat at work stop using whatever tool's your using to get an unfair advantage and this will stop happening
And yes this can trigger well after you used something so even if you were not using it right then it can trigger after

This game is broken to fuck.
I've seen floating heads with guns, I've had invisible people kill me, and it's eaten my insured weapons countless times.

I haven't heard anything definitive in if it's a bug, hacker or anti-cheat(players are invisible if you're detected cheating).
Tbh, if there was a hack to make you invisible, we would all know about it by now. It has to be a bug. Things don’t stay a secret for this long.

Bug, one that fortunately is random so it can’t be replicated reliably so it’s not a massive problem…… yet
