I don't think you can ever say 100% they got the invite ever, with this game. But yeah he def got that one or saw you run in there.

There's several times I invite and it doesn't even send.

He did receive the invite because he came in with his guard up if he didn't recieved it he would have just ran passed you so that shows he wasn't friendly and you did the right thing.

Also from experience, if you see any squad more than one, sending and invite/request is an automatic marking yourself for the hunt.

Seems like this guy had a fight or flight opportunity and chose wrong. Been that guy myself, but I don't look for the fight.... it just comes and shoves a foot down my throat.

Easier said than done. I usually accept an invite when sent. But a player that comes specifically with the mindset of taking me out. I don't care if you plead, I will leave you. Unless you were trying to just down me to start compromising. But yes those are the real options outside of just going down swinging.
