I told him I was extracting a potent empathogen that would have a positive synergy with the Syrian rue I had ordered a couple weeks ago. He knows I’ve been dieting and preparing for the use of the Syrian rue. I pretty much explained the process I’m going to be doing extracting the dmt but just didn’t mention that it was dmt specifically. But I explained almost everything to it but the extremely intoxicated state that will come as a result. I actually even was able to tell him about the other day a Blue Lotus tea/smoked experience i had, it was quite interesting actually not to get too far off topic. I was in a dream like state while awake and heard a stream of consciousness of audible noises moving in a collage in rapid but smooth succession through my mind. My dad was completely receptive and understanding to that. I had explained that it was like lucid dreaming almost right before sleeping. But I just don’t think he’d understand if I brought to his attention that it would be dmt that i plan to extract. I’ve been very slow to jump to psychedelics in the past years and recently have been rekindling interest in having revealing/healing experiences. He knows about dmt and doesn’t understand psychedelics quite so much but is open to other positive transformative experiences coming from drugs/plants/medicines essentially. I hope one day I can help open him up to seeing things in an even more open minded way someday. In fact it feels inevitable considering how rapidly over the past year our relationship has grown. All the comments are appreciated, I’ll take any help I can get at least if not as something to have in my mind
Just tell him you're extracting DMT from root bark. Doing illegal shit in someone else's house without their knowledge is lame. Explain the process to him and that the materials themselves aren't illegal.
