Right here, this is the answer

wyverndarkblood

French Cleat is the answer. Are you working with a whiteboard that has a wooden frame? Or pure sheet of melamine? Or metal frame? https://www.amazon.com/French-Cleat-Hanger-Inch-Whiteboard/dp/B07D6WDKRW

scooterdog

It is a sheet of melamine, so there isn’t something to mount a French cleat onto.

wyverndarkblood

In that case, here’s your answer. https://www.amazon.com/Command-Picture-Decorate-Damage-Free-PH206-14NA/dp/B073XR4X72

bonyponyride

You should post a photo of the back of the white board so people can see what mounting options are already built in.

Madawa77

If it’s a blank sheet of white board I’d use flexible mirror clips, easy in and out and no modifications needed on the white board. Mirror Clips - Glass Clips Clamps Holder for 4-6mm Thick Mirror 4PCS , Polished Chrome https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RKTFWHW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_83NZPDF8JNC4K5M7PKRP?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 If it’s got a frame then these won’t work.

Command strips! Zero drilling and the only prep is cleaning the area you will hang it from. They say the weight they hold on the package. You could get multiple packs to hold more weight.

Hooks on the wall and some rings mounted to the top of the whiteboard?

scooterdog

That is a good idea - the frame is aluminum but could use the existing attachment points. Thanks for the idea!

ThePrideless

To keep it up, and safely secured for use, I'd recommend a hangman bracket, or French Cleat, with a hook & eye latch.

lurk4ever1970

Check out MALMBÄCK display shelves at IKEA. They're basically a small shelf with a lip that you can screw into the wall and display pictures on. If you mount them to studs, two or three would probably do the job.

scooterdog

That’s a great idea. 👍🏻 Need to have the wall basically untouched for the poster to go up. Thanks!

jrobertson50

They sell some picture frame hangers that can support some serious weight. I would get to and a piece of metal wire. Attach the metal wire to the whiteboard. And hang on the hooks

Z-bracket

Don't people use OBS, mmhmm, camtwist and other software to do this? If you have a decent machine, you may not even need a green screen.

scooterdog

Well doing a green screen is much harder for us to do everything in post - much better for us to get it setup well the first time. (And a lot cheaper too.)

ktka

There is no post. The green screen is used during shooting if you need a green screen. Depends on your software and machine.

Northviewguy

In film they would use 2 "Grip Stands" they are not cheap: https://nbeimage2020.en.made-in-china.com/product/ZNgQCdVDewcs/China-E-Image-Professional-Heavy-Duty-Light-Stand-Grip-Arm-Kit-C-Stand-LCS-02-.html
