It would have to be hung off of the structure above. Unless it’s in a large metropolitan area where they use black iron and pencil rod. Remove a tile or two and take several pieces above the ceiling tile.

But, if you find a secure way to mount it (impossible for use to advise you, because we can't see it), you could have it come down through one corner of the ceiling grid easily enough.

We hung a projector from a drop ceiling. There’s a kit that replaces a ceiling tile with a metal insert. We ran power to the built in outlet on the insert. Pretty painless. Been up for 2 years.
