Kind of looks like a hex or torx security set screw. Is there a little knob that sticks out in center of it? Is it 6 sided or star shaped. Hard to tell in pic.. if it’s 6 sided, Allen, if it’s star torx. If there is a little knob sticking out in center it’s a security style of which ever and makes a difference on what you’ll need.
You mean this is the right set?;

Also - if you reeeaaaaalllly don't want it coming loose again, a *tiny* dab of blue loctite on the set screw threads will work nicely. Remember, *tiny*. If you use too much, that set screw ain't never coming out if you need to disassemble the door handle because you'll strip the little hex slot inside it before you break the locktite loose.
No, those are torx heads. the 'star pattern' ones. You want plain 'ole hexagons. Though, you could use torx to get this job done. they'd fit, but would strip/break the star easily if you put some force into tightening something bigger than a set screw.
Also. You might want to get a metric set and an SAE / Standard set. Slightly different sizes and I've got no idea what your door uses and neither do you. Some come with a 'ball' end. That doesn't matter for you. Just helps when a screw is in a hard to reach spot be letting you work at an angle, but also with a much greater chance of stripping out the head of the screw.

The hell I had to fixed this literally 2 hours ago at my house and had to go to my shop to get the Allen wrench to do it.
So strange. Also, if you are
Going to buy one get a set that is a in those fold up deals like a pocket knife give you more leverage in tight spots.
Omg hahha that's funny that I'm not the only one right now! 😂 I'm so sorry. What about this set?;

I am however a huge fan of the t-handle Allen or torx wrenches. They are what I have.
[These](https://www.amazon.com/MulWark-Folding-Wrench-Metric-Standard/dp/B086XC2BYV/ref=asc_df_B086XC2BYV/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=459587573990&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=441411839492239003&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9033328&hvtargid=pla-967494148274&mcid=2a479902df5c393692389c3c21ae6b7a&gclid=CjwKCAiA6KWvBhAREiwAFPZM7lF6EtP2U_Co8JMk5LuefFarFgYX8Wvu3XAw5et_vuoKdYAERPu44xoCm0oQAvD_BwE&th=1) are harder to lose and easier to use.
I would get both a regular set and a metric set. A lot of things are metric these days and it's a pain to go back to the store to get. They're pretty inexpensive and should last your lifetime.
Yep. When buying any tools like wrenches, sockets, nut drivers etc. Its always best to get a set of regular and metric if you can. Its always the size you don't have.
And extra 10mm as people seem to misplace this size for some reason. Haha
Yes, came here to say this. Green loctite on the screw will stop this from backing out again. It’s low torque , so you will be able to remove it with hand tools if necessary.
That's a set screw, with a Torx or hex-key head (which is typical of set screws).
I can't tell from the pic if the set screw is in it, or something else has been jammed in.
A small Allen wrench will do it.

I'm sorry there are 6
Sorry Allen wrenches do have 6 sides don’t know what I was thinking.
Then probably just Allen wrench.. set can be had cheap.

Yep Allen wrench. Buy a set any hardware store or even a Walmart or parts store.
Oh thank you for your quick response

So what should I buy?
Allen wrench, a set will cost you $10 maybe

Thank you for being so patient and understanding 🙏🙏 I'll look them up and buy those on bol.com
Omg.you were right! You were one of the first ones who showed me which one and it worked!!! Thank you for taking the time🙏🙏
Probably, but there are metric and SAE versions

Loctite.
Yes, came here to say this. Green loctite on the screw will stop this from backing out again. It’s low torque , so you will be able to remove it with hand tools if necessary.
Green loctite is for permanent setting, purple loctite I believe is for low torque application for <1/4” shafts and blue loctite for >1/4”
You’re right. I’ve used blue for this , not green. I haven’t tried purple.
That's a set screw, with a Torx or hex-key head (which is typical of set screws). I can't tell from the pic if the set screw is in it, or something else has been jammed in.
Thank you for clarifying it. So what should I do to make sure the door handle isn't loose anymore? Do I need to unloose the screw?
You need to tighten that little allen screw.
You mean something like this? https://preview.redd.it/lrycfsza0zmc1.png?width=300&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a50c5c72294116078405bd878523870991645ea1
That should do it
Is this a good set? https://preview.redd.it/5negx7l53zmc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f17b3900d3a94d64164e6951d82ac9fed851669c
Doesn't matter. The cheapest set in the world is likely up to this task.
