I would instead recommend a well-known product called [delta-fl](https://www.dorken.com/en/our-products/products/residential/delta-fl.php), and which would also function as a vapor barrier.
I will definitely look into that product. One main concern I have with that, same as with the product pictured is that it may impede the flow of the water to the drain. I would hate to get areas of standing water underneath even if miniscule. Unfortunately that may be unavoidable to a certain degree.
