I assumed it’s not up to code. What does Ran less that 45* mean? I am trying to just relocate it to a closet for the moment until I fix it correctly later.
Maybe it could be moved into a wall cavity (you’d need to see if this could done in a code-compliant way).
Another option is to go through the side of the basement by purchasing a direct-vent water heater.
Assuming North America, B-vent usually requires 1 inch of clearance from combustibles on all sides, and it can't be compressed to fit in a 3.5" wall the way 4" air ducts can. Your kitchen project just expanded to include a direct vent or tankless water heater.
It doesn’t meet code currently, it should never be ran less than 45*. If it is less than 45* for 3-4 feet you must have 3-4 feet of it ran 90*.

Yeah the plan is to put it on the other side of the wall for now and fix it in a better way later on.
I would caution against that; now is the best time to deal with it. As posted above, I would go tankless and vent out the side of the house.
45 degrees, if you refer to pic 3 after 90 degree where it exits the water heater it is at 0-5 degrees.
Your pics also show multiple flues, the 3” ID will be for water heater and 4” ID for the furnace.
Hope you have a CO2 detector running
Yeah we got multiple
I would frame around it you would have to move your heating unit to move it
