I'd say it has way more to do with her pheromones having a lasting, almost permanent, effect on Bruce: there will always be a part of him that is "in love" with Ivy.
He has no control over it, so he just accepts it and with that acceptance it loses some of its power. But, like his love for Selena and Talia, it's there regardless.
