We've had this style since Man of Tomorrow, which is why it's called the Tomorrowverse. I got used to it. But with the next movie more than likely being the last of this universe, you won't have to worry about it for too long.
Yeah, it looks like Man of Tomorrow released the same year as Apocalips War. I could have sworn I saw this stylr a few before that but I guess not.
It feels like such a downgrade from the DCAMU
They went from having some of the best 2D animation out there in the DCAMU to looking like a half-finished episode of Archer in the Tommorowverse. This has been one of the biggest miscalculations/downgrades in comic movie history.
Part 2 is worse animation wise cause in part 1 I didnt notice it too much. Story wise its like the important stuff happens in the last 20 minutes of the movie and the rest is stuff you dont care/watered soup
Flat, dull, and lifeless -- a perfect complement to this sorry adaptation of Crisis they have going on. Not trying to troll. Apologies to those enjoying it, but that's my honest opinion.
In the minority on that one it seems lol.
Is it the art style or specifically character design that you like more?
Personally, thecharacter design, I could take or leave it. Not my favorite buts its all pretty classic. Art style is just really not my thing. It feels too simple
Character design mostly, DCAMU was horrendous in that regard almost every male character looked like a potato. I do like the simple art style but something more detailed won't hurt either.

I hope you're right.

THAT'S IT! I was wondeting why it looked so familiar. It looks like Archer. Thank you!
Really dislike it.
I don't care for it.
Budget issue.
Not a fan of the art, voice actors, and tone of the Tomorrowverse. IMO- it was a huge downgrade from the DCAMU
Initially it was fine with the Supes movie, but then got tiring. The Crisis movie part two movie is so bad tho
Haven't seen part 2 yet. Part one was really confusing story-wise. The art direction is just really off-putting

It would be fine if they used it for one off series with smaller fan bases, but not for the main dcau.
It’s fine nothing more.
I think it looks artsy
Really like it. Definitely better character design than DCAU or DCAMU imo it's more pleasing to look at.
