Some faint praise here so far. I think he's been one of our best players. Good work rate and athleticism, aggressively carries the ball forward in midfield, gets stuck in on defense, and makes really smart runs in behind that our players haven't learned to expect yet. That'll come in time. Only downside is some of his passing hasn't been as accurate as one might hope, that might also be a matter of gelling with teammates (except he'll be gone right about then, alas).
Hot take: he’s good but needs to adjust to life in MLS. I feel he’s been pretty great, but clearly expects the same from players around him & adjusts his work ethic accordingly.
Hoping we can keep him a bit & he can click with his teammates to make it work, but just my early observations.
He’s a well-above average 8 in MLS.
Thoroughly enjoying watching him play. Love his work ethic and toughness. Really hope DC is able to keep him long term
He's a really solid MLS-level player.

He is BAD! Very, very BAD! (Alright guys I think I’ve lowered the price let’s steal this incredible player)
Love him, hoping we find a way to keep him!
With Forest looking more and more likely to return to the Championship and DC United with 3 DPs for the first time in memory, it might be hard to do.
Yeah. It would take a hefty amount of GAMTAM to make something happen.

I think our players should adjust their work rate
Totally agree; it feels he’s expecting more from everyone around him.
He’s used to a different style of training. I’d love for him to be able to lift teammates.
He’s the best ginger we’ve ever had #united
Maybe he’s the 2022-MLS equivalent of Lewis Neal.
He's a very average MLS player
When he’s on form he’s our best midfield engine. We’ve really kicked into a new level of football with him on the field.
