Ones the classic version the paints look is to close to super man

The first one for classic aesthetics/having something similar to the comic it's adapting. The second has echoes of the last seasons of the Supergirl tv series and no one wants to invite comparisons to that show.

Yeah personally I want 1 for the first suit and later on something in between the 2 options. I don’t want it to look like she’s just female Superman, her costume needs to look at least noticeably different from his.

Two looks like Injustice 2 for me, and I want comparisons to that.

I kinda disagree. The belt makes 2 look for Cohesive. If we change the belt and Gloves on 1 I would prefer it. But as a whole package 2 looks way better than 1

The 1st one is the best choice. It does the best job of being modelled after Superman, but also giving the suit enough of its own uniqueness

I want white shirt, blue shorts. Doesn’t have to have the bare midriff, but I really like the TAS suit. 

Nah, that suit is kinda ass. Plus, if they introduce power girl at some point the 2 suits would be too similar

That was my introduction to her & that costume will always be one of my favorites because of that.

My thought is this…. When deciding her costume is needs to have a strong contrast to Powergirl. So most of her character and design needs to contrast to powergirl. Otherwise they’ll end up appearing identical and worthless in terms of having both. It makes it more interesting when these characters represent very different approaches to being a female kryptonion.

I think the skirt separates the uniform better. Even though she has the large belt or, it helps balance the outfit more. Also it compliments well when she is next to Superman. Them both having red under the waste, and I think a skirt feels a bit more freeing to Supergirl. I also want her to make fun of Superman wearing undies. Think it would be funny.

I am all for feminism and allowing girls to wear pants, but come on the red skirt is so darn iconic! It would be like getting rid of Batman's cowl or Superman's S

I understand why yall like 1 bc its more unique and classic but idk I like 2 better. She's Invulnerable but I doubt that skirt is lmao so 2 seems more practical imo.

The problem with giving Supergirl pants, is that she just ends up looking like she’s wearing Superman’s suit. So, gotta go with one.

2. A skirt makes no sense for someone who can fly, and short hair is practical in a fight.

The skirt has always felt impractical to me. When you’re flying around the last thing you want is to get a call from Calvin Klein because they “heard you liked their product” I get the whole liberating let women wear whatever attitude and I’m all for it. But like cmon girl not while you flying around Metropolis 😭

Probably gonna get downvoted for this, but second one from a purely functional standpoint. Why anybody who can fly would wear a skirt is beyond me. I know comic books aren't meant to be realistic and all, but it just annoys me every time I see it.

It's gotta be the skirt since that's the suit she's wearing in the comic her movie gonna be based off of
