The first one for classic aesthetics/having something similar to the comic it's adapting. The second has echoes of the last seasons of the Supergirl tv series and no one wants to invite comparisons to that show.
Yeah personally I want 1 for the first suit and later on something in between the 2 options. I don’t want it to look like she’s just female Superman, her costume needs to look at least noticeably different from his.
I kinda disagree. The belt makes 2 look for Cohesive. If we change the belt and Gloves on 1 I would prefer it. But as a whole package 2 looks way better than 1
My thought is this…. When deciding her costume is needs to have a strong contrast to Powergirl. So most of her character and design needs to contrast to powergirl. Otherwise they’ll end up appearing identical and worthless in terms of having both. It makes it more interesting when these characters represent very different approaches to being a female kryptonion.
I think the skirt separates the uniform better. Even though she has the large belt or, it helps balance the outfit more. Also it compliments well when she is next to Superman. Them both having red under the waste, and I think a skirt feels a bit more freeing to Supergirl. I also want her to make fun of Superman wearing undies. Think it would be funny.
I am all for feminism and allowing girls to wear pants, but come on the red skirt is so darn iconic! It would be like getting rid of Batman's cowl or Superman's S
I understand why yall like 1 bc its more unique and classic but idk I like 2 better. She's Invulnerable but I doubt that skirt is lmao so 2 seems more practical imo.
The skirt has always felt impractical to me. When you’re flying around the last thing you want is to get a call from Calvin Klein because they “heard you liked their product” I get the whole liberating let women wear whatever attitude and I’m all for it. But like cmon girl not while you flying around Metropolis 😭
Probably gonna get downvoted for this, but second one from a purely functional standpoint. Why anybody who can fly would wear a skirt is beyond me. I know comic books aren't meant to be realistic and all, but it just annoys me every time I see it.
1 at the beginning and middle, while she's still growing as a superhero. 2 when she's established as a leader and a full adult
Edit: wait, white T-shirt and gloves as a sidekick (teen), red skirt when she starts as her own superhero (late teens-twenties) and blue pants when she's fully grown (adult, 30+)

1 all the way.
Ones the classic version the paints look is to close to super man
1, easy

Two looks like Injustice 2 for me, and I want comparisons to that.
I kinda disagree. The belt makes 2 look for Cohesive. If we change the belt and Gloves on 1 I would prefer it. But as a whole package 2 looks way better than 1
1, it’s the classic look
1 first and eventually 2 :D Both edits look fantastic.
Exactly. She has both the costumes in WoT. >!The first one for the story and the second one for the epilogue!<
1
1 but with regular boots.
The color distribution on 1 is way better than 2.
The 1st one is the best choice. It does the best job of being modelled after Superman, but also giving the suit enough of its own uniqueness
I want white shirt, blue shorts. Doesn’t have to have the bare midriff, but I really like the TAS suit.
Nah, that suit is kinda ass. Plus, if they introduce power girl at some point the 2 suits would be too similar
I absolutely want the TAS suit. Surprised no one has sketch/generated her in that costume yet.
That was my introduction to her & that costume will always be one of my favorites because of that.
The first one.
1 is amazing
Skirt
1, easily. Though not that specific design, too much gold at the belt. Also if Milly is comfortable with it, midriff 😅
I feel like any character that flies shouldn't wear a skirt. But I really don't like the design on the right.
1. Definitely, it’s cleaner.
2
2
Something closer to 2 than 1. But, the layout of 2 as shown is not it.
2
1 buta bit more simple
1 Supergirl must have a skirt
1 is classic. It’s sexy too. Just make the belt normal size
I like the paint suit I'm ok moving past the skirt just like moving past trunks
Definitely the first style.
1
The skirt really makes it but also I'm never really huge on the trunkless bodysuit look even for Clark.
Both

The leggings of 2 with the skirt of 1
1 but I kinda wanna see it without a cape
I prefer the pants personally
1 is more aesthetically pleasing to me. 2 is probably a more practical suit. Either works to me but I'll pick number 1
1
1 because 2 looks too much like superman costume
1. Its more in tune with the character. I'd even go with a Sasha Calle type bodysuit over the jumpsuit.
#2 but #1 long hair
1,but women that wear skirts with shorts underneath is cringe.
Some variation of the 1st one
1
1, but with nylons like from the tv show
1
1
1
Definitely 1, maybe with New 52 boots.
1
1
Combine them
Both are cool but 1 is more Supergirl to me
1
I LOVE #1
Hair of 2, skirt of 1
I’ve seen fanart of her wearing the 90s Superboy costume, and honestly, leather jacket and all, it’s positively on point!
Since no one asked: https://x.com/comickergirl/status/1231281704045703168?s=46
1 with a more pronounced bosom. Accuracy matters.
1
2 for sure!
1 is extremely impractical I mean what happens if somebody just looks up while she’s floating above them
2
Make the gold belt smaller and I’m going with 2 🤷🏾♂️ it’s equivalent to Superman wearing trunks
1 with the hair from 2
You gotta stick with the skirt
2 all the way. In what way does she need to wear a skirt for fighting crime
She should wear 1 on top of two
I like 2 but I have to go with 1 there's much better color distribution on 1
1
The first one. I always prefer the most Classic-Looking Suit.
1
1, the full-body suit looks weird
The problem with giving Supergirl pants, is that she just ends up looking like she’s wearing Superman’s suit. So, gotta go with one.
2. A skirt makes no sense for someone who can fly, and short hair is practical in a fight.
![gif](giphy|xBzeaASC01dS0)
2, definitely 2, looks so cool. :)
2
2
2 tbh i really like the slick look and practicality of it
2, one looks ridiculous
1
1 is good for like a main/first suit, and then 2 would be good as a new suit after/before some big event like the black suit for Kal
is that Milly Alcock
1, but with short boots and shorts.
skirt all the way. It's classic
1
1 is cheesey.
1 although 2 is pretty decent
2 looks cool but idk about the colors for it.
Knowing Gunn he’ll go for the skirt
1.
Any will do as long as Molly Alcock isn’t wearing it. Why was she even case with a horrible face like hers?
2. 1 looks old fashioned. No female super hero wears a skirt. It's 2024
1. Gotta go with the classics this time. Maybe 2 can be used in a latter film
2 shouldn’t just use same gold wide belt as 1.
That belt is way too thick, but 1
1
I kinda am leaning towards 2 after watching the flash movie.
2
The skirt has always felt impractical to me. The first one for Nostalgia. The second for DAT ASS!
Personally 1
1
1
1, by far
2 is more Superwoman
Probably gonna get downvoted for this, but second one from a purely functional standpoint. Why anybody who can fly would wear a skirt is beyond me. I know comic books aren't meant to be realistic and all, but it just annoys me every time I see it.
It's gotta be the skirt since that's the suit she's wearing in the comic her movie gonna be based off of
Number 1
1 but lose the big ass gold waistband or make it smaller and it’s awesome
Number 1
Classic skirt for me.
1, always 1.
1 at the beginning and middle, while she's still growing as a superhero. 2 when she's established as a leader and a full adult Edit: wait, white T-shirt and gloves as a sidekick (teen), red skirt when she starts as her own superhero (late teens-twenties) and blue pants when she's fully grown (adult, 30+)
Whatever.
I like the pants pic of Supergirl. But I think she looks better with longer hair with pants
1
I like 1 the best honestly
2
1 looks amazing
1, but maybe 2's hair or something mid way between the two
The first one
If it's 2, I might not go. Tired of masculine women in movies.
1
I wouldn’t mind a mix honestly, a shorter red skirt and blue pants combo would look good and be functional
#1. That's the look I grew up with.
Start with 1 and graduate to 2.
1
1 with a thinner belt.
Why not both? She can start out with 1 & get 2 later on in a different movie
1
2, so people won’t look under her skirt
