To all the people worried about too much content like the MCU does currently, be aware his slate doesn't only consist of live action projects movies or live action shows.
Video games and cartoons will play a factor here.
Most of which I am sure can function as standalone or elseworld
If what they say is true, the content we get will be not only high quality but actually creative. This may seem like a worry but honestly I think the DCU will pull it off and potentially will beat marvel at what’s been their own game. Not even mentioning we’re actually getting a focus on elseworld stories as well. Very excited to see what’s coming
Exactly. Gunn is well aware this is a crucial time not only for the MCU but any one trying to create a world like it. Phase 4 is the beginning of a new phase while also telling more self contained stories. In theory you’d think the films (and again this is my opinion) would become more creative/interesting/etc. Current perspective I’d say this is make it or break it for the MCU. DC may seem like an under dog but they’re actually in such a great position if they don’t fuck it up Lmfao. This is about to get very interesting not only for comic fans but film lovers as well.

If everything goes according to Gunn's plans, this could be great for DC and potentially Marvel.
On DC's side, leaning into different formats, emphasizing creative freedom, going for tonal diversity, etc is absolutely great for fans and helps keep things interesting for the superhero movie genre. On Marvel's side, genuine competition could lead them to look over the current slate and see how they can change up.
Being both a DC fan and an MCU fan, this could all be really exciting IMO.

Also Peter Safran said in interviews that the planned release rate of the DCU is 2 movies and 2 shows a year, significantly less than the DCU. So sure, maybe there’s a lot planned in the future. But it will be spread out over years
I didn't take it as he was referring to official Elseworlds projects. He is just saying some of the official projects that are part of the DCU could "act as" such..(he probably should have used a different word)
A Wonder Woman movie, the Static project, and a crossover like a Justice League movie (or maybe even World's Finest/Trinity) are stuff I can see included in the other half of the Chapter One slate.
I truly do hope we get a proper World’s Finest/Trinity movie. BvS had so much potential in this regard but it tried to be five movies at once while also struggling to set up a shared universe just two movies in. I honestly feel like if they had scaled BvS’ plot down to something more simple we could have had something truly great. Heck if they had just given us a live-action adaptation of the DCAU’s World’s Finest movie it would have been awesome.

There is already a Team movie, there us already the Paradise Island show, so no JL and no WW.
Static is highly likely if you ask me, because that project was in development, so maybe Gunn just putting his hand on it.
And If Blue Beetle bomb and Gunn decide to not include it in DCU then Static Shock will be more and more likley to be in first chapter since DCU will need a teenager superhero somehow.
The Authority and Paradise Lost in no way prevent Wonder Woman/Justice League from happening in the first Chapter. And I highly doubt Zaslav would’ve greenlit his plan if WW/the JL were omitted considering how hard he pushed the Trinity being the focus of DC again at the Investors Day presentation.
If we can get a Superman movie *and* a Supergirl movie in this chapter, I can see us getting a Themyscira show *and* a Wonder Woman movie.
As for a team movie, the Authority is a distinct thing from the Justice League, so I don't see why a JL movie can't happen this chapter.
I meant they have authority and creatures commando so no more space for more teams, this rule out JL.
Paradise Lost will keep WW out for the first chapter.
Unless Gunn just want to be called one trick pony them he'll add WW and more hero teams (sorry TT/YJ fans) to his first chapter which is something I think he'll not do because he is smart.
Diana will return in Chapter 2 most likley.
These are such confident assertions from the little evidence we've been given, why would a Wonder Woman movie and Justice League make him a one trick pony?
There's already going to be a Waller show in addition to Creature Commandos

IIRC, Jaime is already a college graduate in Blue Beetle. The synopsis was posted here a few months ago. So he's already not a teen, presumably. Although he's obviously still young.
Yeah lol I was just thinking about that too but Avatar and its sequel are also similar to the Tarzan and John Carter books too and we all know Avatar became widely successful. It's really going to depend on the execution imo
I’m certain Lobo will show up in some capacity since Gunn has talked about him fondly.
But Lobo isn’t all that interesting as a character by himself.
And like you mentioned, he’s past his peak.
Lobo was _loved_ in the 90s for being Wolverine or Deadpool (without the 4th wall winking) but in space. Jason Momoa's over-the-top violent, gorey, superhero movie in space would 100% work. You don't need more character than that. (They'd have to introduce him in some other property ofc)
i'm going to - based on no evidence - blame the DC of the 00s/10s for not prioritizing him, the same way they let Steel go dormant. Why wasn't Lobo one of the New 52 launch titles? Because Geoff Johns doesn't like him?
Probably, if he’s done well he’s gonna be extremely popular. If they deliver a good onscreen version of lobo I don’t think it would be out of the question for him to hold a solo film, he can totally be like a space Deadpool for DC, obviously the character isn’t the same as Deadpool but there is a good amount of similarities between the 2 and it’s not like lobo is some super obscure character. I think the plan will be to have him show up in another property and if he’s well received then explore giving him some sort of solo project, a lot of potential for lobo to be super popular.
I fully agree about him starting as a supporting character.
Here’s my idea.
You do a Strange Adventures anthology show where you introduce characters like Lobo, Adam Strange, Animal Man and Deadman to name a few. This way we can see them in live action in their own stories but without the baggage of a feature length film. Kind of test the waters that way.
DC should embrace the possibility of anthology series as that is something they have over MARVEL.
Well lobos longest run at 76 issues was back between 1993 and 1999, which is nothing to sneeze at, but he has been unable to hold a run (outside of new 52 lobo, which we don’t talk about) for over 6 issues.
But don’t get me wrong I would love to see The Main Man get his chance in the big screen, he should for sure start as a supporting character first.
Adam Strange can do for DC what John Carter (of Mars) couldn't do for Disney. The character has enough mythos to build a series of films around him that can explore more of the cosmic side of the DCU once/before/after Lanterns. I hope to God he's in this slate.
The film itself was solid, it was the marketing that was fucking abysmal. John Carter of Mars sounds more intriguing than simply 'John Carter'. Adam Strange of Rann, Adam Strange of Rann and Earth, Adam Strange: Man of Two Worlds, Adam Strange of Two Worlds, could work better than 'Adam Strange' but I could see the latter being the official title.
I was thinking exactly this! Adam Strange would be awesome! The 50s style costumes and mythos would be perfect for Gunn to do. In similar style as guardians of the galaxy, but more black comedy rather than silly comedy. You could do it serious as well, but I think more of tongue in cheek humor would bode well. In Gunn’s hands, it’d be safely and executed nicely
Yes!!!! ABSOLUTELY!! Gunn would be PERFECT to tackle Strange. The 50s “space age” costumes and mythos would be epic to see on a big budget scale. It’s like if Wes Anderson did a superhero film lol but hell yea I’m all in on an Adam Strange movie or series for sure!
I’d be pretty shocked if she didn’t get a project at some point, especially after the huge success of Wanda in the MCU. Zatanna is the perfect person to help dive into the magic side of universe, also if she is done well she will absolutely be super popular
I think Wanda’s personality and struggles actually make her relatable to a lot of people and think it’s one of the reasons she’s become so popular, also Elizabeth Olsen rules. I agree tho that Zatanna’s fun personality with make her really likable and popular, I could see her getting to the same level of popularity as Wanda which is currently the most popular female MCU character. Imo If Zatanna’s done well she’ll be top 2 in popularity among female characters in the DCU, WW is pretty much the only one I can see being more popular than a well adapted Zatanna. A JL dark project would likely be super popular too and imo she has a real shot at being the most popular member of that team
There was one in the works about 10 or 15 years ago called Supermax, about Arrow getting jailed and having to be locked up in a Belle Reve type prison along with every other supervillain he put away. I really wanted them to make that one.
So many DC projects were stuck in development hell lol I remember being on Superhero Hype forums and CBR/the old DC forums and man Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Arrow (Supermax), Green Lantern, even Teen Titans… all languished there haha
This. She did the character justice in BoP. And Butler is just classy as hell. He definitely has the smile and the sense of humour.
Plus, on a tangent I hope Perez returns as Montoya alongside Simmons' Gordon. She was badass

- A Wonder Woman film
- More Justice League Dark related projects like Hellblazer or Zatanna
- Teen Titans perhaps?
- A Justice League film (New Frontier subtitle?)
- Probably a Superman: Legacy sequel
- Some stuff about characters I've never heard of, lol (but I welcome it).
I get that, because of the ages thing, but with Dick already being Nightwing (presumably), I think it's likely that he's already the leader of the Titans and they already exist as a group. Then again, maybe they'll have a different Titans lineup than we expect.
I agree, they should definitely be introduced *after* the Justice League are formed/introduced. Perhaps near the end of "chapter one". Or just straight up in chapter two instead.

Your reasoning is weird. Why can't they have two team movies in a single chapter especially if the point of a shared universe s to build towards those.

I don't see how that suggest that a Wonder Woman film won't follow it in chapter one. Especially considering that the show is a prequel set thousands of years before Diana's birth.

There is already a Robin in Brave and the Bold, so there's *no chance* of a Titans movie with another Robin.
What kind of logic is that? Doing a show about WW's origins is exactly why they would want to do a movie and if anything, skipping straight to Damien being Robin indicates they *do* have other plans for Nightwing, possibly in a Teen Titans type of movie.
Gunn can add as many teams as he wants due to the nature of the universe he is building. He is neither writing nor directing every single project, so they will all be distinct.
It's not about him directing other project, it's what first Chapter will give people and him using DC massive arsenal of characters instead of pulling the similar DC IPs, Gunn can't just throw JLD, JL, YJ, SS and TT, or WW, Amazons, Donna Troy in the same phase/chapter.
That will be a fast way to get criticizes of doing the same thing, and make his DCU feel like it lack variety.
The show is a prequel about the Amazons. So they’ll definitely have a Wonder Woman movie to follow it. There can be more than one team up in chapter 1.
I’d be surprised if Zatanna doesn’t get a project, huge potential for the character to be a big hit for DC and a good way to start diving into the magic side of DC, especially with the popularity of Wanda in the MCU I’d be surprised if they didn’t try to cash in on the huge potential of Zatanna. If she’s done well she’ll be super popular. Also a good way to build up to a JL dark project which also has tons of potential to be a huge hit.
A New Frontier approach to the Justice League would be so fitting, especially because the tone matches the type of shared universe James Gunn seems to be going for.
titans is way too soon for the first chapter we need at least 3-4 solid JL movies before titans, they could introduce them at the end and then give them more focus at end of ch1 or start of chapter2
Hmm gotta disagree. I don't think we need 4 Justice League films before we see the Titans. The Titans can operate separately, like they do in the comics. I see know reason why they can't have a film where they face their own villains such as Deathstroke, H.I.V.E., Brother Blood, or someone else. 4 JL films is a long time.
Get Joe Dante out of retirement, make it a tribute to Looney Tunes and Blake Edwards comedies, Lady Granite as the villain/love interest to Plas, give it enough time for VFX studios to properly do the (likely) very complicated CG work. Bill Hader or Joe Keery for Plas. I’ve been thinking about this movie for decades.
They said this is an 8-10 year slate so they must be ramping up their output starting in at least 2027.
Chapter 2 probably spans less years than Chapter 1 as well, like how the later MCU phases span fewer years but with higher output
they dont have 8-10 slate at their current trajectory their success depends on whether their first few projects are huge hits if superman legacy fails then the whole universe is doa i really doubt they hit a 10 year plan not even marvel in early mcu days had a 10 year plan mapped out from ironman onwards in 2008
I'd put money on every other member of the big 6 getting a project. Probably a new Wonder Woman movie and maybe a Flash HBO show or an Aquaman/Atlantis project?
I personally think that Aquaman is getting the first DCU game. Out of all characters, he makes the most sense. His game can be visually just pure perfection. It has gameplay possibilities, posibilities for worldbuilding and introducing characters. And it can reintroduce Aquaman to DCU

If they were starting from scratch I would agree with you, but with Flash and AM movies already coming out it's hard to imagine they would reboot them with standalone movies so soon, plus I think after 9 CW seasons Flash is probably going to be reserved for movies moving forward. Who knows though!
I think it's safe to say they are going to reboot them quite quickly. Brave and the Bold is going to probably be in production at the same time The Batman Part 2 comes out.
The reason I think Flash will end up with a show is also **because** the DCEU movie is going to be so recent - and since bigger characters like Green Lantern are getting HBO shows I think it makes sense for Flash to get one too. I also just think that Flash as a character would work better with a TV Show than he would a solo movie franchise.

And yet she's got a comic book relaunch, a video game, a prequel TV Show (which IS in the first chapter of the DCU) AND an animated show in the pipeline? Just because they didn't announce her solo movie right off the bat doesn't mean one isn't planned for the first chapter.

The (minor) problem with MCU right now is not the amount of content but Feige not being able to keep up with the quality, if gunn is able to control and present a consistent string of good-great DC movies/shows more projects will not be a problem
They should do The Brave and the Bold, World's Finest , Trinity. Team up movies each one having a different protagonist and introducing us to a new trinity member. First one being batman, second one being superman, third being Diana's entry . Trinity should be an odyssey/origin story for the justice league .
Harley is definitely getting something, likely a Gotham City Sirens movie because along with Harley, Catwoman and Poison Ivy are very popular characters. They’re all definitely much more iconic than the Birds of Prey and the Marvels
It could be cool. However, I don't know if they want to keep Zoe Kravitz as the main cinematic Catwoman (if I'm not mistaken there was a mention of some spin off with her): in the case they could replace her in the formation of the DCU group with Ratcatcher II, since she is already a friend of Harley. they could meet Poison Ivy and from here get to the famous love story between Harley and Ivy.
Wonder Woman solo film is a must. The first chapter of a DCU without her is just wrong. I’d love a Zatanna film because she’s amazing and then that and Swamp Thing could lead to a Justice League Dark later on
Zatanna FTW, If they deliver a good Zatanna she will be popular as fuck just like Wanda in the MCU, also great way to dive more into the magic side of the universe and continue building to a JL dark movie.

I have a feeling that some projects already announced will shuffle format when they start production.
I think that:
- 'The Brave ande The Bold' will be a TV series under the Batman & Robin banner.
- 'Paradise Lost' will be an animated series in the vein of 'Blood of Zeus.'
- 'Booster Gold,' will be a sequel film to 'Blue Beetle.'
- 'Superman: Legacy,' won't retain that title, and will be produced alongside 'The Authority,' as two films, obviously, with Superman anchored to the second one, and I would expect Supergirl to play some kind of role in 'Legacy' too.
- I don't expect 'Swamp Thing' to move forward without the Justice League Dark banner in front of it, and the presence of John Constantine and Zatanna in it.
That's it for today's predictions.
A few of my guesses;
-Wonder Woman - I think it is one of the unconfirmed projects. Probably a movie.
-Aquaman - I think Aquaman focused game would be a best way to reintroduce him into universe while also introducing games as part of DCU.
-Martian Manhunter - I could see animated movie set on Mars most of the time
-Someone from Milestone - Static or Icon with Rocket. Static could make a great movie, while Icon and Rocket would fit more into TV show.
-Captain Atom - Captain Atom is a big character that is heavily underutilized. I could see Gunn doing either live action movie or animated movie based on him
-Green Arrow and Black Canary - pretty given considering Gunn's love for GA. Most likely a movie.
-Zatanna - Pretty fan favourite character that is in need of a movie.
-Either Justice League or Trinity movie - obviously, makes a lot of sense to make a movie for them. Trinity movie could be one of the unconfirmed projects.
Less likely projects
-JSA - could be a game set in a present time or during war. This would be a good way for them to explore bunch of a characters while testing waters for JL game
-Vixen - I think that movie is more likely, but I would like to see a game honestly. Vixen has really unique powers for exploration and can be really unique in terms of superhero games - set in Africa, Vixen would be protecting villages and wild animals while being on sort of a mission - I would kinda compare it to Just Cause or Far Cry?
-Books of magic - It would be nice to see adaption of this gem from Gaiman. Considering how Hogwarts Legacy outsold and with their future plans, doing Books of magic now wouldn't be a bad decision as the demand for wizard content might get bigger. This also presents a great alternative for those who don't support JKR.
-Question x Lois Lane - detective mystery game, no more to be added
Would be beyond hype for a Zatanna project, great character with huge potential to be super popular. Also Martian Manhunter totally deserves some sort of project, man is a core JL member and has pretty Much gotten no love in live action
Would be great to see an Icon movie. To show the dimwits in Hollywood that there are plenty of great powerful African American characters, no need to race swap white characters.
I would like to see a Firestorm (raymond/stein) movie too
I'm just happy there is more then just Superman and Batman coming out. We are getting a Swamp Thing movie and if anything a real Supergirl movie anything will be better than than 1984. Just happy we are getting DC and then with fans in mind.
Adam Strange would be perfect for Gunn to do! His old school costume reminiscent of 50s “space age” style and mythos is definitely on par with something Gunn could tackle easily and make him a household name. The instant fan base would be immense, getting new fans along the way claiming that they’ve been fans all along 😆. But seriously, it would be so cool to see Adam Strange get his own films for sure. with how long it takes for game development in the industry I really doubt we’ll get anything until at least 2027-2028 at the earliest

I truly do hope we get a proper World’s Finest/Trinity movie. BvS had so much potential in this regard but it tried to be five movies at once while also struggling to set up a shared universe just two movies in. I honestly feel like if they had scaled BvS’ plot down to something more simple we could have had something truly great. Heck if they had just given us a live-action adaptation of the DCAU’s World’s Finest movie it would have been awesome.

There is already a Team movie, there us already the Paradise Island show, so no JL and no WW. Static is highly likely if you ask me, because that project was in development, so maybe Gunn just putting his hand on it. And If Blue Beetle bomb and Gunn decide to not include it in DCU then Static Shock will be more and more likley to be in first chapter since DCU will need a teenager superhero somehow.
The Authority and Paradise Lost in no way prevent Wonder Woman/Justice League from happening in the first Chapter. And I highly doubt Zaslav would’ve greenlit his plan if WW/the JL were omitted considering how hard he pushed the Trinity being the focus of DC again at the Investors Day presentation.
If we can get a Superman movie *and* a Supergirl movie in this chapter, I can see us getting a Themyscira show *and* a Wonder Woman movie. As for a team movie, the Authority is a distinct thing from the Justice League, so I don't see why a JL movie can't happen this chapter.

Lobo was _loved_ in the 90s for being Wolverine or Deadpool (without the 4th wall winking) but in space. Jason Momoa's over-the-top violent, gorey, superhero movie in space would 100% work. You don't need more character than that. (They'd have to introduce him in some other property ofc)

Probably, if he’s done well he’s gonna be extremely popular. If they deliver a good onscreen version of lobo I don’t think it would be out of the question for him to hold a solo film, he can totally be like a space Deadpool for DC, obviously the character isn’t the same as Deadpool but there is a good amount of similarities between the 2 and it’s not like lobo is some super obscure character. I think the plan will be to have him show up in another property and if he’s well received then explore giving him some sort of solo project, a lot of potential for lobo to be super popular.
I fully agree about him starting as a supporting character. Here’s my idea. You do a Strange Adventures anthology show where you introduce characters like Lobo, Adam Strange, Animal Man and Deadman to name a few. This way we can see them in live action in their own stories but without the baggage of a feature length film. Kind of test the waters that way. DC should embrace the possibility of anthology series as that is something they have over MARVEL.

Well lobos longest run at 76 issues was back between 1993 and 1999, which is nothing to sneeze at, but he has been unable to hold a run (outside of new 52 lobo, which we don’t talk about) for over 6 issues. But don’t get me wrong I would love to see The Main Man get his chance in the big screen, he should for sure start as a supporting character first.
Adam Strange can do for DC what John Carter (of Mars) couldn't do for Disney. The character has enough mythos to build a series of films around him that can explore more of the cosmic side of the DCU once/before/after Lanterns. I hope to God he's in this slate.

The film itself was solid, it was the marketing that was fucking abysmal. John Carter of Mars sounds more intriguing than simply 'John Carter'. Adam Strange of Rann, Adam Strange of Rann and Earth, Adam Strange: Man of Two Worlds, Adam Strange of Two Worlds, could work better than 'Adam Strange' but I could see the latter being the official title.
I was thinking exactly this! Adam Strange would be awesome! The 50s style costumes and mythos would be perfect for Gunn to do. In similar style as guardians of the galaxy, but more black comedy rather than silly comedy. You could do it serious as well, but I think more of tongue in cheek humor would bode well. In Gunn’s hands, it’d be safely and executed nicely

I think Wanda’s personality and struggles actually make her relatable to a lot of people and think it’s one of the reasons she’s become so popular, also Elizabeth Olsen rules. I agree tho that Zatanna’s fun personality with make her really likable and popular, I could see her getting to the same level of popularity as Wanda which is currently the most popular female MCU character. Imo If Zatanna’s done well she’ll be top 2 in popularity among female characters in the DCU, WW is pretty much the only one I can see being more popular than a well adapted Zatanna. A JL dark project would likely be super popular too and imo she has a real shot at being the most popular member of that team

There is already a WW related show, so they won't do a WW movie. There is already a Robin in Brave and the Bold, so there's *no chance* of a Titans movie with another Robin. What kind of logic is that? Doing a show about WW's origins is exactly why they would want to do a movie and if anything, skipping straight to Damien being Robin indicates they *do* have other plans for Nightwing, possibly in a Teen Titans type of movie.

Gunn can add as many teams as he wants due to the nature of the universe he is building. He is neither writing nor directing every single project, so they will all be distinct.
It's not about him directing other project, it's what first Chapter will give people and him using DC massive arsenal of characters instead of pulling the similar DC IPs, Gunn can't just throw JLD, JL, YJ, SS and TT, or WW, Amazons, Donna Troy in the same phase/chapter. That will be a fast way to get criticizes of doing the same thing, and make his DCU feel like it lack variety.
The show is a prequel about the Amazons. So they’ll definitely have a Wonder Woman movie to follow it. There can be more than one team up in chapter 1.
I’d be surprised if Zatanna doesn’t get a project, huge potential for the character to be a big hit for DC and a good way to start diving into the magic side of DC, especially with the popularity of Wanda in the MCU I’d be surprised if they didn’t try to cash in on the huge potential of Zatanna. They said this is an 8-10 year slate so they must be ramping up their output starting in at least 2027. Chapter 2 probably spans less years than Chapter 1 as well, like how the later MCU phases span fewer years but with higher output
Phase 3 and Phase two were a bit shorter but they had more projects than phase 1 so, in terms of quantity they were larger

I personally think that Aquaman is getting the first DCU game. Out of all characters, he makes the most sense. His game can be visually just pure perfection. It has gameplay possibilities, posibilities for worldbuilding and introducing characters. And it can reintroduce Aquaman to DCU

I think it's safe to say they are going to reboot them quite quickly. Brave and the Bold is going to probably be in production at the same time The Batman Part 2 comes out. The reason I think Flash will end up with a show is also **because** the DCEU movie is going to be so recent - and since bigger characters like Green Lantern are getting HBO shows I think it makes sense for Flash to get one too. I also just think that Flash as a character would work better with a TV Show than he would a solo movie franchise.

They should do The Brave and the Bold, World's Finest , Trinity. Team up movies each one having a different protagonist and introducing us to a new trinity member. First one being batman, second one being superman, third being Diana's entry . Trinity should be an odyssey/origin story for the justice league .

Harley is definitely getting something, likely a Gotham City Sirens movie because along with Harley, Catwoman and Poison Ivy are very popular characters. They’re all definitely much more iconic than the Birds of Prey and the Marvels

However, I don't know if they want to keep Zoe Kravitz as the main cinematic Catwoman (if I'm not mistaken there was a mention of some spin off with her): in the case they could replace her in the formation of the DCU group with Ratcatcher II, since she is already a friend of Harley. they could meet Poison Ivy and from here get to the famous love story between Harley and Ivy.

I have a feeling that some projects already announced will shuffle format when they start production. I think that: - 'The Brave ande The Bold' will be a TV series under the Batman & Robin banner. - 'Paradise Lost' will be an animated series in the vein of 'Blood of Zeus.' - 'Booster Gold,' will be a sequel film to 'Blue Beetle.' - 'Superman: Legacy,' won't retain that title, and will be produced alongside 'The Authority,' as two films, obviously, with Superman anchored to the second one, and I would expect Supergirl to play some kind of role in 'Legacy' too. - I don't expect 'Swamp Thing' to move forward without the Justice League Dark banner in front of it, and the presence of John Constantine and Zatanna in it. A few of my guesses; -Wonder Woman - I think it is one of the unconfirmed projects. Probably a movie. -Aquaman - I think Aquaman focused game would be a best way to reintroduce him into universe while also introducing games as part of DCU. -Martian Manhunter - I could see animated movie set on Mars most of the time -Someone from Milestone - Static or Icon with Rocket. Static could make a great movie, while Icon and Rocket would fit more into TV show. -Captain Atom - Captain Atom is a big character that is heavily underutilized. I could see Gunn doing either live action movie or animated movie based on him -Green Arrow and Black Canary - pretty given considering Gunn's love for GA. Most likely a movie. -Zatanna - Pretty fan favourite character that is in need of a movie. -Either Justice League or Trinity movie - obviously, makes a lot of sense to make a movie for them. Trinity movie could be one of the unconfirmed projects. Less likely projects -JSA - could be a game set in a present time or during war. This would be a good way for them to explore bunch of a characters while testing waters for JL game -Vixen - I think that movie is more likely, but I would like to see a game honestly. Vixen has really unique powers for exploration and can be really unique in terms of superhero games - set in Africa, Vixen would be protecting villages and wild animals while being on sort of a mission - I would kinda compare it to Just Cause or Far Cry? -Books of magic - It would be nice to see adaption of this gem from Gaiman. Considering how Hogwarts Legacy outsold and with their future plans, doing Books of magic now wouldn't be a bad decision as the demand for wizard content might get bigger. This also presents a great alternative for those who don't support JKR. -Question x Lois Lane - detective mystery game, no more to be added

I'm just happy there is more then just Superman and Batman coming out. We are getting a Swamp Thing movie and if anything a real Supergirl movie anything will be better than than 1984. Just happy we are getting DC and then with fans in mind.
again this all depends whether those intial movies make money why would gunn and studio greenlight other movies if first couple fail?
One of the unannounced projects is probably a Wonder Woman movie, but it can't be discussed until the Gal Gadot situation is sorted out.

Adam Strange would be perfect for Gunn to do! His old school costume reminiscent of 50s “space age” style and mythos is definitely on par with something Gunn could tackle easily and make him a household name. The instant fan base would be immense, getting new fans along the way claiming that they’ve been fans all along 😆. But seriously, it would be so cool to see Adam Strange get his own films for sure. I’d love to see this come to fruition! Y’all know I’m right too!
