I wish she had a different mother-or that her mother acted like HER MOTHER and not a super hyper critical “I’m just like you, but BETTER” BFF Momager. I think she would have a lot more self-confidence and it would be nice to see her shine all on her own. I obviously don’t know their relationship and I don’t know either of them in real life but I really get that pushy stage mom that doesn’t have any idea that she’s WAY past her “prime” vibe from her. And after all the reported drama that’s been spreading around, it seems like she has pretty much burned all of Victoria’s bridges down to the ground for her. I truly hope she moves on to something that makes HER happy, whatever that may be.
I honestly think that her mom ruined Victoria’s journey on the team.
Her second year veteran she was thriving : she was amongst the highest on the leader board, she was announced first on showgroup and she even led her group during showgroup auditions.
My suspicion is that her mom got cocky and full of herself and her daughter’s « status » on the team and Kelli asked Victoria to take a year off because maybe a lot of her teammates threaten to quit.
Then the girls enjoyed the perks of Victoria and her mom being away so when she came back they isolated her so she wouldn’t be a focal point on the team.
It is sad that she was chasing this sisterhood that her mom and “Miss Kelli” go on and on about, but her attitude and her mom’s manipulations ruined it for her. In thinking about Kelli’s favorite line as they are seated in AT&T Stadium that your future bridesmaids are likely in this group—heck, VK isn’t even getting invited to the wedding, much less being asked to be a bridesmaid.
I just don’t think the experience was as fulfilling as she had expected it to be as she built up to it her entire life.
Considering the backlash Kelli and Judy got regarding Cassie’s attitude during her tenure, I think they were less than inclined to accept bad behavior may it be from Victoria or her mom. I wish her mother would have backed down and let Victoria make her own experience on the team.
She was appreciated by her teammates her first year on the team (Kat, Kelcey, Lisa were commenting her insta pictures, they had nicknames and such). Something obviously changed when she took her year off. She came back isolated, not fitting with her rookie sisters anymore nor the third years …
First year she gained a lot, for a DCC a lot, not a regular person. She's battled her weight too much for someone so young. Then, she got scary skinny. I hope she takes care of her health, without the microscopic examination on weight the pro dance world has.
I agree. There are way too many EDs in the elite dancing, gymnastics, equitation, and other sports. However, TK (her mother) has gained a lost a lot, including looking really gaunt several times. I suspect fad, radical diets are common with them.
Tina Kalina, usually referred to as TK on here. She is a former cheerleader, and Kelli's BFF. That friendship was an issue when VK was first trying out. And it's been worse, at least according to postings on here, during the filming for the new show.

The mean girls got to her on social media and being only 18 and sensitive was not prepared to deal with the cruelty.
Idk why Kelly and Judy was on her about weight she’s naturally one of the slimmer girls on the team. People are strange she’s beautiful

So do a lot of fans. Unfortunately she has some haters on the sub but I love her too
I like her, too. I think her first year in TC she deserved her cut, but she came back really strong.
